whats up with waren miller movies? i havent seen one in about 10 years. have they changed? are they incorporating newschool stuff now?

There is always atleast a couple minutes of newschool stuff in the newer warren miller's i have seen. Usualy the shortest part of the movie though, its just not his thing so much.

Yeah..they were always centered around all aspects of skiing. Especially the newer ones..as they are incorporating a lot more newschool skiing.

They are just fun to go to andyou get to see some REALLY awesome big mountain skiing thats always filmed really well.

WM has been making ski movies for a long time now, hes really got it down, and they are always worth watching.

Basically the same but bit of newschool stuff although most of that is ripped from Poor Boyz or others. But yeah still mainly a bit of everything else and good way to start the season.

i was just at the IMPACT premier in Boston this past friday... it was pretty sick... Warren isn't really known for his newschool footage, but he is known for the 'core' of and really getting down to what it all means... but as the years progress, he's got more and more newschool stuff in each vid... i got the chance to meet and bullshit with Chris Davenport a bit, and Jenn Berg and Hannah Hardaway... always cool seein' the pros in the vid at the premier, esp. when they (Davenport) is a boston native!!! IMPACT had one of the sickest step ups i've ever seen, pretty gnarly hit. Hugo is in it too, obviously don't have to talk about how sick his segment was.

millers classic big mountain hour plus films there great although the do get old after you have watched them over and over. he cool though those movies have huge budgets and some of the best big mountain skiing iv ever seen. it the kind of movie you can sit down and watch. I admit I have more other movies then millers but I am still a huge fan of his. And even though he has started to put more snowboarding in to the films they are still primarily ski movies. And they through some other cool thing in there to like aerials comps, and speed skiing stuff you don’t normal see in movies.

 
I haven't seen last years or this years. But the movie from 02, Cold Fusion is the best I've seen from him. Jamie Pierre, Collins Borthers, and okay rail seg, Seth, and Szocks were all in it with pretty good segs. A lot of WM movies are on the starz channels. It's $7 for directtv, and they show a bunch of them, so yeah, just watch them. They are pretty tight.

 
Any of the Warren Miller movies were Warren narrate are asome. The Warren Miller movies that the other guy narrate aren't as good. I think it's his son that narrate the other ones.
