If anyone has been watching the news lately you will know who this is. What do you all think of him? Should he be fired. If you have not yet read his article, you should. He compares the 9/11 victims to 'little Eichmanns.' How academic are you all really?

I go to CU, and I think everyone in the country should keep their noses in their own damn business. We the students pay for his salary, so we the students should be the ones to decide whether or not he should go. I think a couple analogies he used in the essay were wrong, but his overall point was completely valid. Knee-jerk conservative asshole reactions should not get a professor kicked out.

The overall point that retains it's validity despite shocking analogies is that when a country such as the United States engages in systemic manipulation and violence of and towards third-world countries, it's bound to come back and bite you in the ass. Ward Churchill, however, neglects the fact that Dick Cheney was the architect of the September 11th bombings, not third-world terrorists.

i see his point but he did a damn good job of pissing people off. i agree with his poinjt though. he should most definatly not get fucking fired, it is fucking free speech.

being Indian can be cultural as well as biological. i am not necessarily standing up for him, but the tribe he says he is a member of supports him and even provided security for him at his lecture.

 
Saucerboy what you want us to shut up about? If you want us to shut up that makes me think that you agree with him on what he has said about people in the World Trade Center. You think that it is respectful to talk about people that had absolutely nothing to do with the presidents politics and compare them to Nazis? Are you out of your fucking mind to agree with him? Seems like he's done that well. More people are reading his essay and buying his book. Maybe he knows how to work people?

His statements are very ridiuclous, but he's getting his name and words out very efficiently.

you misinterpreted what i was saying and didnt even give me a chance to explain to you what i meant. how mature. i absolutely do not agree with his writing. being from connecticut my family lost friends on 9/11. what i was saying is that i feel that it is very unfair for the media (not only rights) to jump to these conclusions. i will repeat that i do not agree with his comments when i tell you that most of what you have heard or seen is out of context. the gov. of colorado jusmped to conclusions and said some things that have gotten him in trouble. i was curious to know what people thought about the situation on here, and i agree that me saying 'and shut up' was misleading, especially now that ive read it again. but please, dont make yourself look like an immature, ignorant brat again by jumping down my throat for a comment you may have misread. thanks.

 
And I'm guessing you think the U.S. had nothing to do with any of these 11 conflicts? Surely, the U.S. never would have funded Afghani rebels (including Osama bin Laden), or Iraq, or Israel, or any variety of terrorist organizations across the globe. Jesus Christ, pick up a history book not handed to you by your high school, you might learn something about how the world really works.
