so i got war from totalvid, and ive watched it like 6 times a day since ive had it, and this is what i think. its the best movie ive ever seen in my opinion. the music, the cut scenes, cinematography, the riders, everything is amazing. candides scene is amazing, sammy c's segment makes me hate my life and want to start over, and also, i never really knew too much about zach davison's skiing before this movie, and now hes one of my favorite pros. i wish the included more of dumont, but with his crash its understandable, i also got booter crunk and safety meeting, ive watched booter twice, cuz tim is sick in it, but sammy had a better seg in war, and safety meeting, well ill say id rather gotten wski. anyone else like this movie? flame me, do whatever, i dont care, i love this movie. im watchin it right now actually.
 
It's tied for now on my list of top movie of the year. Tied with TBC. I need to analise further I've seen each one once so it's hard to make a good decision. They're both better than any other ski movie I've ever watched though, by far. Amazing
 
ya war was super good the second partr of jp's segment was awesome and the seg with john symms and tj schill was also good, alot of people didnt dig the music but i thought it was good.
 
Seth's backcountry was pretty crazy. With all the huge cliff backflips. Not enough rails tho...

I thought this was PBPs best movie since Propaganda. The music was so much better than the crap they've been using for the last 3 or 4 years, and the riding was sick. Pep absolutely killed it again. I wasn't sure if he'd be able to ever top his part in 1242, but I'd say this was even better.

Lots more urban than X, which is good to see, and the editing was actually good this year.
 
yeah, i got war and shanghai six few days ago. i´ve watched them like 5 times but i cant decide, which is better. they are so different: edit,riders,spots and music. now im going watch them again, maybe after that i could decide which of them is better.
 
so are you saying the first part of jps seg WASNT awesome, cuz i guarantee that you dont have the balls to ski any of those lines...
 
Yes I bought it. It is super ill. Poor Boyz is the shizel! Sick in the air follow cams of Benchetler, Jp filming himself, driveby shots of Carlson, gnarly heli footy of Morrison, Syms on the dating service. good stuff.
 
TJs grabs were so tweaked it looked like he tweaked the ski like 150 degrees up, like tip to tail and such, it was crazy
 
Dude by now we all know it, YOU'VE SEEN TBC! Ok? In every thread I've seen you post in all you have been talking about was how good the movie was. Please shut the fuck up, we don't care.
 
hehe, War is an awesome movie, I cant say if its the best cuz im still waiting for my shop to get fuckin TBC and S6... but it def kicks ass
 
The thing about war is that i dont think its the better movie in the case. I think UP1.2 is just as good if not better than war, so if one was going to buy a movie, I would choose war b/c you get UP1.2 with it
