alright just to start out...war is up there with session 1242 as my favorite movie ever...its truely amazing, i just think it has a flow down that i havent seen a movie capture since 1242. alright so the parts go as follows: Intro-really really good, simple but has some bangers, gets u geared to watch this classic, 8/10

Jp- the first part, starts out wit some bc, and some sickkk timelapses great great all around part good song, and really fun seggy, 8/10

sammy/andreas- my favorite part in the movie, being partial to rap the song was fucking amazing. i never realized how good sammy was at jumps, obv everyone knows his prowess on rails, look for this kid to blow up bigggg, next is andreas, wicked sick skier who just throws downn, 9.5/10

anthony-not as good as his part last year, but a really good part none the less, i dont think people realize how hard anthony can throw down, 7/10

dorion/abma/douglas- watch this part for douglas, looks to be the comeback of the year part for him, so for that id rate his part 8/10

benchletter- realll good to see a fulll part from him, an amazing skier who deserved a full part last year but came up short due to injury, i think this part did him justice, 8/10

olenicks-the rowdy ass brothers who kill it in skiing, really shows how amazing they are, and its good to see mike skiing cuz hes sick as hell, 7/10

zach davidson-another one of my fave parts, he slays it on rails, and its jus a sick part, a few jump shots that showcase his potential on jumps too, 9/10

symms/schiller/reginier-really really good part, love the song, symms kills it, schiller kills it more than ppl were saying, and reginier has a guito, 8/10

mahre-havent seen a part out of him before this year and its definatley good to see one, showcases his potential, one of the most stylish skiers, 7.5/10

seth- im sorry blahhhhhhhhhhh 2/10

pep- amazing song transition in his part (yes the transition from the timelapse to skiing is two different songs) his part is amazing, real good to have him back a solid all around part. backcountry booters blow ur mind in this part, 8.5/10

credits- awesome awesome credits and props to that kid who slayed that double kink that ppl were 180ing over burliest handrail i have seen, 9/10

u thought 1242 had flow? that was the chopiest movie ive ever seen with the least accual skiing ive ever seen. war blew 1242 out of the water for me

i can definately respect what seth was doing in war, but it just isnt that fun to watch, i agree..

and sammys part was amazing, he just spins without even thinking about it...like the first shot in his seg, geez....

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

I agree about Sammy. . . killed it.

But the tree jib is starting to get overexposed after being in Freeskier and on their ad and then a bit too much in the flick, I thought.

It's called skiing, stupid.
 
that transition from pep walkign around the city to pep skiing was painfully awful, first of all what was teh relevance of him walking around the city and then out of no where he is midair doing a switch 5. I thought war was basically the same movie as their previous 15 movies just with riding that was a step up from last year.

 
here is my piece on the movie. In terms of skiing its was very good.

jp-killed it, sick urban rails and drops

sammy-really good super styley

andreas- june hip/ some really really good urban.

one of my favorite sections

anothony's section was really good huge jumps spinning both ways in the back counrty, his style is consistently getting better. but after last years part i was a little bit of a let down.

dorion-best part in a long time som really cool stuff like the first trick on a house. still there is better skiers out there now

abma-not great considering how good he is

douglas-best part in a while, however still wasnt very impressive with the exception of one line

benchletter- love his style sick to see him hitting bc booters this year, pretty good part but nothing to mindblowing

olenicks-fun little part, some cool stuff fun to watch desptie the fact that i dont like their style that much.

zach-kills rails in this movie, much more so than in booter krunk jumps were not that impressive

symms-real short part, really good 9 in bc sw 7 shifty soo sick

schiller-good but a little short and nothing ultra rediculous

julien-good part, sick switch five off this cliff first hit.

candide-really sick goes huge one of the best sections

mahre-amazing just wow. kills pyramid gap

pep- hands down the best skiing i have

ever seen. 180 off a huge cliff sw flat 7 in the back counrty. numrous tricks both ways with style.

and the last trick is just rediculous. great way to end the movie.

Overall i fel poor boyz put much more effort into this film than last years dissapointing x.

the sections seemed like thought was put into them and not just footage thrown in witha song sover top.

even so i felt that from section to section the movie seemed a little disjointed and more could have been done to have the movie flow together as a whole.

ps. the footage of simon jacob w and gangier in the credits is sick

excellent movie. good to see a few fresh faces to PBP like zach d and the olenick brothers and a full segment from morrison, although it wasnt his strongest.

good to see a lot of la plagne hits. props to zach for jumping off the balcony of the building i lived in a few seasons ago...

ill download music till the day i die but theres something wrong about burning ski dvds.. gretes part was my fav because she was so sick you couldnt even tell she is a girl...... also really really like douglas and JP.. they still got it for sure.. and upcomers adreas sammy zach really got me stoked too

also i was confused about kristies part, she only got one wall ride type thing right..... the person in the pink with blonde hair was jon right???

Jp blew me away this year. But really, when I think of it, I have always been stoked on JP segments since "13"......Pep..what can you say, it's Pep. Andy to me was the biggest surprise, he has the sickest style and is throwing down kinda like Pep...
