I want afterbangs but are they really worth it I have heard they dont hold wax well and heard there really heavy.

If i shouldnt get those then what skis are a good all around park ski that are not to exspensive?

I LOVE MY AFTERBANGS!

I can't recommend a better relatively cheap park ski!

The slide amazingly, and hold their own on jumps. The butterzones are so nice, and although they are heavy, they're extremely great in the park.

The only issue I've had is that its extremely hard to get speed after a couple days skied on a new wax.

my afterbangs are great but they are heavy and dont hold wax because they have extruded basesi would get armada alpha 2s because they are really hard to catch a edge because they have early rise in the tips and they hold wax well and are great on rails and jumps

Umm doesn't every ski break. It all depends on how you ride your skis. I would try the afterbangs out, I mean if they break they break. Also if your looking for a stiffer ski check out some Boones. Thy are really dope and are 300 and you get free armada poles.

I rode a pair of these skis for around a month and they were sickest skis ever! Great on rails and alright off jumps .... good ski

riding 177's and they dont feel feel that heavy.. they handle so well on jibs it basically makes them feel lighter.. thats my opinion

but yeah wax doesnt hold super great, ive always had that problem but now i just to scrape lol otherwise they have awesome butterzones and are really easy to pop off of lips

source...cause that's not a really good answer...
MY afterbangs have been going strong since early November, and I ski at least 4 times a week, pretty much 100% rails (with those), however I have taken them off some medium-large jumps (50 feet - it's pretty much as big as we get) and they were fine. Here's what mine looked like about a month ago...and they look pretty much the same now (except they match - both are missing edge underfoot...but again, tons and tons or rails). I've honestly never had a ski last this long...normally I'm on my second (or even third) ski of the season. Here's the review I did (with pics): https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/521977/

They are a price point ski, there aren't many skis out there that cost less...what other options would you have without buying used?
