Wanting to film this winter

Ok so I'm looking into buying an HV40 soon for filming this Winter but I got two questions I'm hoping someone can answer for me:

1. I know it'll be hard to operate a camera while wearing gloves, but would I be able to get by with park gloves? Or should I just suck it up and not wear gloves at all?

2. Ok this is probably a stupid question, but can I wear a backpack with a tripod strapped to it on a chairlift? Or will it push me too far forward and make me feel like I'm gonna fall off?

Thanks!

Buy thinner gloves like so:

Dakine makes a pair that seem pretty legit since Freeskier buyer guide put some good reviews on them. Here's a link for them. http://dakine.com/gloves/snowboard-ski/guys-gloves/method-series-low-profile-performance-fit/viper-glove/

And you'll be fine with the packed tripod, you goof.

Sick. I think I'm gonna go with a HF S200. I doubt I'm going to be able to pay for a camera before the end of this month so the deal will end.

just take one shoulder strap off and sling it in front of you when you are getting on the lift.
