i just got back from it, SO BADASS!!!
i thought it was really entertaining but it of course was brutally unrealistic, i tried curving a bullet with my airsoft gun and i ended up shooting my car so that doesn't work but i found that the overall message was to quit your desk job, pick up a gun, and start killing people in a badass way. i thought it was one of the most entertaining movies i've seen in a long time but the message wasn't a particularly interesting or understandable one. but i really liked the big twist and the way it was done, a little too far fetched but angelina jolie is really hot and badass and the movie is very sick overall, not the deepest but definitely the most action packed and ridiculously fun to watch movie that's out right now, i definitely recommend watching it but only if you're in a ridiculous mindset where you won't notice details and say "that could never happen" because there's a lot of that, overall i had a very good time watching it
 
I watched it at like 2am last night because it took us forever to set it up, had so many scrolls...but it was pretty good, one of the managers was disappointed because it didn't follow the comic book close enough. I thought it was awesome.

About the guy who said it didn't have a message, that is true, it isn't very deep, you could say the message is too go out of your way to change yourself.
 
no man it has a message it's just saying the only way to be happy and to be "somebody" is to take a gun and go blow people's faces off with sick looking slow motion bullets. i dunno, i realized halfway through the movie that i was gonna stop pointing out impossibilities and seeking messages that make sense and enjoy the ass kicking
 
yeah, it is a super easy job. Most of the time I don't have to do shit and all the managers owe me so many favors it is ridiculous.
 
haha yeah it is, but it still is a dope movie I thought, its one of those movies where you think something is gonna happen and it doesn't they kinda just mess with you, I love it.
 
yeah, i really wanna see this. hancock looks pretty sick to. the dark night is gonna be amazing when it comes out. looks like this summer is gonna be a good one for movies.
 
It was full of awesome crazy scenes and fight choreography. It doesn't really have much of a plot though.

Basically, the entire movie is a montage.

9/10 for badassness

1/10 for plot/deepness
 
Agreed.

I would say the action scenes are sick and the acting is good but the writing was pretty awful. It just frustrated me how they didn't make any attempt to explain away the impossibilities - they could have just used superpowers or some Batman-esque gadgetry, but instead they just played it off that these are basically just normal people with elevated senses who are somehow capable of doing things that are physically impossible.

It was entertaining though, I'll give it that.

but overall the movie was real good. it didnt have a good plot but it had a decent story. They should have gone a little into depth on wesleys backround.
 
i just saw it last night. it's such a sick movie. it's so badass. and though moderately unrealistic it was quite entertaining. plus angelina jolie is mad hot.
 
what you can't curve a bullet? Really though the movie was sick, just straight action the whole time car chases bullets hitting other bullets and just crazy fight scenes the whole way through, way worth it to see it in a movie theatre
 
definitely a good movie for the BA factor and just a whole bunch of cool action. I really enjoyed it. BUT the plot is pretty weak and there nothing goes very deep. It doesn't involve much thinking on the audiences part, which is something I always like to do. The characters aren't built up enough at all and you really don't know that much about any of them. Regardless, really entertaining and I liked it.
 
I didnt really like it, there were so many corny parts, and so much unrealistic shit. but not in a way that was blatantly unrealistic, just in a way that left you feeling like it was so fake. (ex. when the fat guy deflects a whole clip of bullets with two knives). and the whole curving bullets thing was dumb...let's just say i wasnt a fan and was glad that i didnt pay to get into the movies lol
 
Okay, so to the people saying it doesn't have a good plot, true. If you want the same stuff with an awesome plot, read the comic, one of my managers had them and let me borrow it, unbelievable. It is so much better than the movie.
 
The twist was annoying. But the ending was badass. And it's completely unrealistic so approach it more like a superhero movie or something.
 
i thought it was dope when people got shot it the back of the head and they slowed it down enough that you could see the skin on their forheads bulge out when the bullet was coming out the other side...hahahaha. good movie though, super intense, but not the best plot.
 
considering the fact that a lot of the ideas were borroweed from other movies, the story is actually somewhat orginal. i don't know how to explina this, you'd have to see it for yourself to understand, but i mean, you don't think to yourself "oh i 've seen this before, it's like in the matrix" or whatever. i mean, they even did the whole "you killed my father, i'm gonna kill you" "i am your father" bit, from star wars, but you barely even notice because the movie is just that good. i am buying it when it comes out fo shooo

I read the comic book about 3 months ago and it was really badass. I didn't even know the movie was about the same thing when i saw the previews until i saw an interview with Angelina and they had a picture from the comic behind her.
 
actually i take that back, when i saw the preview where he is supposed to shoot off the flies wings, i had a strange sense of deja vu, now that explains it.
 
this movie was super badass, definitely worh it. i dont really care if its unrealistic, i kew it was gonna be after i saw the trailers. oh yeah, angelina is smokin'.
