hey im lookin to buy a pair of spk boots. asap. name your price. i dont know if i would fit into a thirty but def 30.5 if you are lookin to sell hit me up asap thanks.

yep, the biggest size SPK boot is a 29.5, unless you wanna pay thousands and thousands of dollars for a specially made mold for that size, and then get them to make one for you

dude, solly boots fit HUGE. i wear a size 10 MINIMUM shoe size, and i ride 26.0 foils/spks.... which would correspond to a size 8 shoe size. try on the 29.5's, my bet is, unless you have gargantuant sized feet, you could even go a size or two lower.

well i was thinkin that to about going down one size. i use like a twelve and a half shoe prob more towards a thirteen but the shitty part is, no ski shop around me has em and i'm pretty much just using your guys's feedback on what size i should get.

woah woah woah, you dont want a 30.5 then, i wear a 13 shoe, but a 28.5 boot(10.5 shoe size) and it works just fine for me, not to constricting at all. so you should be able to wear a 28-29 comfortably.

I wear a size 13/14 shoe and wear a size 29.5 ski boot that fits a little big even. I think you should be fine with a 29.5 unless you have MASSIVE feet

well if i wear more thirteen than twelve and a half. should i go with the 28.5 or 29? bec im gonna buy them based off of what you guys think. i would get them fitted but no place around me sell them and i gotta get them off the internet.

are you going skiing anytime soon, if so where at? because chances are there will be a place there where you can get them fitted and try them on.

i wear a 12 shoe and am in a 27 shell, so if you wear a 13 i would probably go with a 28/28 size (same size)

you should try them on! You never know how they'll fit. SPK's fit average to wide. Also within salomons other boots they fit differently. Most people go down a shell size from foils to spk.

well i can get a pair ordered from this ski shop im close to. they can get the 28.5 for three hundred. the only thing is ,is that if i order them i have to pay for shipping to get them here so im gonna have to just take what you guys are sayin and go with it. a few of you told me that you are using a 28 for a size 13 shoe. are they tight at all. and are your feet real wide. thanks guys for all the info on these boots

my feet are fairly wide, size 13-13.5 shoe, 28.5 boot. and yes it is tight but not constricting. tight isnt a bad thing just means the boot nice and snug. constricting would be bad, b/c then you start getting numb/cold feet and the circulation gets cut off. before i ever new anything about ski boots, i used to get rental boots true to my foot size and they would always be reeally loose, and my feet moved around alot when i would ski which through me off pretty badly. then when i got boots fit for me and they were like yeah you generally go down a few sizes so the boot is nice and snug. and when i skied on boots that were right for my feet the first time it made a huuuuge difference. im sure theres something about this earlier on in the thread but im gona say it again, only difference between a 28 and 28.5 is that, either the liner is thinner(giving the wearer more overall room by a few cm) or that the shell is hollowed out a little from the inside, but half sizes will have the same bsl as they'r whole size under them. different company's do it different ways and im not sure which salomon does. still i would recomend trying it on before buying even if that means you have to wait a little while before you get them. also on places like untracked.com and many others you can order boots w/ UPS boot return(or something like that) meaning that if you don't like them you can send them back for a different pair of a refund(i think).

"Return Shipping Label If you would like to buy two pair of boots so that you can compare size and/or type, then a return shipping label will let you return the single pair that you do not wish to keep" thats the FedEx boot return lable description from untracked.com and its $10. so you could buy like the spk in 28.5 and 29. try them both on decide which ones you like more and send the others back for a refund. another thing im sure some1 has already mention but liners do pack out, remember that.

yo thats some legit info. i appricieate that. im gonna do that and buy both. i wouldnt say that my foot is any bigger that a thirteen so i will get the 28 and 29. whats funny is that the last pair of boots i had which were the salomon xwave 7's they were a 31.5 and they were fitted to me. now i have so much fuckin room in these i cant even tell you. it is almost dangerous not to mention the fact that each boot weighed at least ten pounds. it just amazes me that i got those fit for me 4 years ago and they let me buy that huge pair. im gonna drive to this shop about two hours away that has a pair of 28.5's and i might just buy them if they fit. i really hope they do because they are on sale for $299.99 thats a steal. i am so usto such shitty huge boots that this change is gonna be amazin for my skiing. ive grown so usto the hugeness and the weight so much that these will feel like shoes. i cant wait to see. thanks alot

i dont know how you guys with size 13 shoe are in 28 shells. I have a thirteen shoe and my 29.5 spk fit perfectly but the liner is literally non existent and my toes are pressed against the front of the shell. I wouldnt want them any bigger, but I absolutely cant imagine fitting into a 28 shell.

um....sorry but no.

29-29.5 have the same shell size. after going down to a 29.5 from a 30.5 the difference in shell fit is massive. no chance are they the same.
