Thread title says it all. I'm coming out for a college trip, gonna ski A-basin that day. I'm an intermediate park skier- hit and spin pretty much any normal park jump, slide and spin out of most rails, and a can hold my own as an all mountain skier. So, anybody who wants to show a fellow ns'er about would be greatly appreciated.

Well then, anybody want to just ski with me? As much as I love my dad, he's not much fun to lap the park with haha.

I'd be down to show you around but I'll probably be in Aspen for closing day at Highlands. Shit gets crazy there on closing day.

dude, just talk to people on the lift. most people are happy to show you around. i've had many people ask if they could follow me around and i always tell them it's fine as long as they can keep up.

I started working at an office in the highlands village a couple weeks ago, and everyone says closing day gets super rowdy. I can't wait since its pretty boring around here most of the time.

dude, it's one my favorite days to ski of the year. it's like gaper day in summit county minus the assholes and gapers and with better terrain and the snow pack is usually some of the best of the season. DJ's at the base village, dance parties at cloud 9 and at the base, ridiculous outfits, girls in bikinis hiking the bowl (weather permitting), anything goes pond skim, and more shenanigans.

last year there was like 8 inches and i was one of the first 20 people up the bowl. Definitely one of the best runs down the bowl I'd had all season and it was the last day of the season. Weather then warmed up for the pond skim and shenanigans.

Hit me up if you need/want to be shown around. I'll be there for the weekend.

think im gonna be there with a big crew and a keg. not sure how much serious skiing will be done, but ill prob take some laps then go hit some spring cliffs.

... Do you even LIVE in Colorado or are you just an idiot?

The last two weeks of April last season it dumped every single day. I rode at least 6" of fresh everyday.

ABay actually isn't that big... It's not one of those mountains that you really need a tour guide for. But if I'm there, I'll for sure shred with you!

Might just have to do this... didn't think Breck would be open. Any places I could rent some skis? I don't really have the resources to bring mine along for a college trip with one day of skiing.

Yup just checked closing date is the 24th. And yeah theres definitely places to rent in breck right on the mountain

Just to put this in perspective..

I skied abay yesterday with 9 new, 7 the day before that, and a 100 inch base. its still more than decent.
