So.... maybe you don't come to Copper so much, but if you feel like coming and want some rad pictures... TELL ME!
Seriously, the park here is crazy built up right now and 2 more are nearing completion, yet no one uses them.
My job is to take pictures.... I have no one to photograph.
You won't get paid, but you may get a photo of the day out of it and I will gladly give you the best shots.
So yeah.. .tell me. Let's make this happen.

I've been shredding park there. Slacking hard with the boxes and rails IMO. Jumps are good but either no pop or a little too poppy for my taste. I think Copper doesn't attract a lot because the park is in a shitty location... sucks to have to lap the Flyer every time.

Yeah... had a chat with someone today about that...
Sad thing is, apparently the park is better than it's ever been before and is comparative in size to what places like Mammoth and Keystone have open right now... but no one hits it cause of the 12 minute ride on flyer.
Word is that they are planning on cutting a path to make high point accessible for next year to knock it down to a 5 minute chair ride that drops you significantly closer.
Just wish they were doing that this year....

Anyway, if you plan on visiting the park here, let me know and I'll come take pictures!

Word! That would be awesome! I've always wondered when they were going to cut a path to High Point... that would be so much better!

As far as the jumps go... definitely comparable to all the resorts around here. As far as boxes/rails... not even close.

i read in the summit daily not too long ago that copper was INDEED going to extend that lift or something for a quicker lap in the park.

i love copper's park, my family used to always go to Copper over spring break and their park is really fun....BUT i hate that lap, which is why i got a job at keystone this year and skied there every time i had the day off

Ah yes dude thats awesome!

Yeah my family went there for a trip earlier march this year and we checked out Colorado Mountain College in Leadville and Coppers going by my home mountain. Im from NY actually, and the park was so much fun. I did't mind the lap with mini parks being the entire way down, but it was long tireing laps.
