you can save like 40% if you buy an external hard drive case, and then a hard drive and put it together rather than a consumer external HDD.
to put it together its just 3 cables to attach and a couple screws, so you dont have to be a computer genious to do it.
if you're looking for a cheap one this is the way to go. Performance wise, its the exact same as well

there are crazy deals on there just keep an eye out you can easily find a 300 gb external for 100. with a mail in rebate of 20 $ or 40 $ . like I said keep an eye on the site...
