Want to see a guy backflip a carbon road racing bike?

This, Some of us who don't bike don't understand how much that bike is worth and how it'd be a dream to own it, while if you saw thall get really high and trash a bunch of Brand new pow skis you'd be pissed. It's the same thing.

Basically Martyn is just claiming his stake in the yolo movement, and were just going to have to deal with it.

it would be much easier use pow skis in a park/urban setting than to use a road bike for trial biking.

also I feel like pow skis in the park wouldn't hold up as well durability wise as the road bike did. but we didn't see him fall, which he probably did, dozens of times.

eh, i dunno, i ride a bike like this and the stance these bikes force you to ride in makes shit like this extremely difficult, sure it weighs next to nothing but the angle of the handlebars and your center of gravity is very different from other bikes. on my hardtail mtb i can pull all kinds of fancy shit but just lifting the front end on my race bike can be difficult at times. the way this guy pulls this stuff while hardly leaning back at all is blowing my mind.

I love how someone makes a sick video and so many people can't get over how he must have hurt the bike. Were the same people complaining when JP Auclair did his segment for All.I.Can? What about when Ken Block makes a gymkhana video? Just get stoked, the people who made the video can afford another bike.

Sure, but that bike only exist because they wanted to give him one to make it rain on. It's like the nice cars in action movies that were destined to be blown the fuck up since day one. They weren't making it to my driveway ever, so I'll just enjoy the show.

true. Didn't B dog and Henrik do some wallrides with JJs in EOS?

trials biking with that terrible crouched over posture and those thin wheels would be more like trying to use Super G skis for urban. Or ice skates.

some stuff was fake i think. Like the metal pole hops, if you look closley you can tell that the physics just dont look right

you mean him? its his stuff, he can do what he wants with it, yes hes thrashing it, but its still really cool.

But it wouldn't have the same uniqueness to it. It would just be another trials edit which would be super sick anyway but this is something way out of the ordinary. If a guy can trash a bike like that he is probably loaded anyway.

Fucking sick video.

Did anyone notice how beautiful some of the locations were? Makes me want to go to the UK.

that was real sick! not quite the same thing (dirt course with build jumps, knobbed up tires, different type of road bike with MUCH different geometry) still really cool though.

Was about to Re Post this video but I searched and found this thread so I thought I would bump it, sickest video I have seen in forever.

Also, its filmed in an Area of the Uk where I spend my summers, I recognise a lot of the sports (North Devon/lyton and Lynmouth, Westward Ho! area if anyone wants to know)

Gunna get hated on this but i know a lot of the mtb/bmx community feels this way. it combines two of my least favourite things in biking, trials and roadies.
