and asking yourself why the hell did i buy skis with white bases, ive had them for half a year and there now brown bases? Bare no more! looky here.. i gave my skis a hardcore wax, and look at this:

so i guess before i wasnt waxing them for long enough, or scraping hard enough, but man it made a huge difference. if you were like i was an hour ago, givr a go, see how it works.

 
esy buddy, im sure no one enjoys the fact there skis get trashed, i would personally like to keep them looking as good as i can, so i thought id help out anyone who wanted to aswell .. :S if its no help to you just dont post you dont have to come on here and act like you king kong

Usuauly if your bases are that dirty it means you should strip them down with soem cleaner, and rewax/scrape. Not just scrape the dirt off.
 
yeah man you need to chill out like maybe some people do you know thats all apart of being a skier is taking care of your skis solike relax and stop being a little bitch
 
i dunno. i work at a shop and they use a citrus cleaner. Its actually made by a ski company so i doubt its harmful.
 
you use base cleaner aka citrus cleaner. it is a chemical that strips all shit off your bases including wasx.
 
Wax with a warm wax and scrape it off straight away. The only time you should use base cleaners is before doing base repairs.
 
ya clean ur skis wid wax like this smart did. cheaper than base cleaner, not bad for skis and makes em go faster, sounds like a deal
 
clean your bases with nail polish remover first rub it in, then dry and then do a hot wax, and scrap right away, then wax again and let it be for a while outside, works wonders.
 
hahahahaha.

if you want to get them white again get some was remover and fallow the instructions. then buff out what didnt come off with the wax remeber with a scotch birght pad. then rewax your sticks.
 
and now that your skis are all clean go skiing for 10 mins and repeat....

park skis are park skis, fuck em.
 
yea i rode today and there just as bad as they were before last nite, so i guess its pointless.

i have the same problem, my fuja's bases are all brown poopy. Mainly cause the east coast is melting and theres mud everywhere
