These global warming threads are all the same and never get anything done. While global warming exists, every weather fluctuation is not a direct result.

^Yeah, actually that is what I'm saying. I know global warming exists, and I'm know its affecting global weather patterns. But I also know that the earth is billions of years old. How is one "above average" going to prove anything?
I think what he is saying is that global warming is not a short term spike in temperatures, although it can lead to weird temperature fluctuations. Rather, global warming is a much more gradual thing.
