This place is pretty good it's a 'self adapting system' that basically asks you what bands (or movies or books) you like and you give them 3 (similar works best) favourites. It'll pop up with bands and you tell them if you like the band or not. basically over time it'll get better and better at telling what most people will like according to the groups that they already like.

try it out. lots of indi bands on there.

ya. it's not bad. sometimes it'll get you wayyyy off track. if you start saying no to things then it looks for bands that are a little bit different so sometimes it'll be completely wrong, but as long as you tell it that the band sucks to you then it'll get better over time.

im gonna go back to the site and check it out again. its really a great idea if it worked perfectly.
