Want Goggles?//Do Graphic Design?

Hey NS!

I was trying to come up with some sticker and logo designs for a new goggle company. Local Optics. Out of Whistler B.C. The website and product will be dropping by mid September and I guarantee you, you will hear about us.

Every mountain has it’s local heroes, and that is who we want to support. Our goggles are inspired by you. Local wants to hook up like minded riders everywhere with the sickest goggles ever conceived.

A huge part of our ethos is that we want to help support the people that make up this community. So I was thinking why not start now. If anyone can come up with a decent design that vibes with us..... We'll hook you up with some goggles.

Over the years there have been a lot of changes to fashion and eye-wear. Since we are small, and born from this community, we can evolve quickly in order to give riders exactly what they want. By gathering your feedback and input we want to constantly keep our goggles in line with what's most important to riders.

If anyone has the rights to shred photos and would want them showcased on our webpage that would be chill.

Also if any NS heroes (you know who you are) or media crews are interested in getting goggles....you know what to do

Send questions and media to local.optics@gmail.com

We will contact you before using any media.

Designing the logo for a company is generally worth much more than a free product...

This isn't very professional. It just makes you look like the same company everyone and their brother has started. Now that I know this I can tell you it'd take a lot of convincing to get me to buy a pair of your goggles. Find a professional graphic designer and pay them for it. Taking shortcuts like this when starting a company won't get you anywhere.

Thanks cheddar. All good, but appreciate the input. I know how much it costs because we do have a graphic design artist and i have a little background in it myself. i just thought it would be fun to get a little community involvement.

Like the ns magazine this is a product for members of ns by members of ns. I am not asking for this input out of neccesity. I just thought it would be interesting to see what ideas come from the community that inspired the brand as well as give an opportunity for members to cop a pair for free.
