i don't want to call you out JibTech, but i am... releasing pictures won't do much to hurt sales of current skis in shops. by releasing the pictures, armada might even make MORE sales than not releasing the pictures. yes, shops are trying to get rid of their inventory. but in all honesty, its not the kids with rich mommies and daddies who are buying skis right now but kids like us who search for deals and pay for our own shit. those rich kids will want the newest and best shit out, not matter the price, and honestly the prolly won't settle for last year's shit. By releasing pictures but not starting early distributation, armada would possible be able to create more hype for their skis. then when indeed the time comes in the fall for the skis to hit the shops, kids, rich and poor alike, will want to buy em. ppl make their decisions early on what they want to buy next season. i'm sure most of the ppl on this site who need new skis next season already know what they want, and some of em even have next year's shit already. but if armada released pics, ppl might have seen some of their sick graphics (i was one of the lucky few who did see them on that japanese site and the graphics are pretty ill) and want to wait till next fall for the new armadas. i agree that ALL companies should hold their skis until the fall if they do indeed want to create a lot of hype and desire for their skis, but i don't think it is a great idea to "let people see the graphics on feet on the riders". i don't know about you, but i don't see JP or JF or tanner or any of the armada guys riding on my shitty little hill out east any time soon, and i think the majority of the ppl on this site are in the same boat as i am. i have nothing against ya JibTech, but i just wanted to point out some obvious opinions.
