Wannabes? or not

hi, what do you think of those guys who wear stickers like, oakley, monster, giro, 4bi9, jiberish, level1 etc. on their helmets, as supposed to "look like pros" ?

Is it cool or not? :)
 
How so? His normal account was "banned" so he "quit" for a bit then jumped on an old orange name he had. How is that face-palm?
 
I don't think that they are wannabe's, except for those that have stickers which aren't publicly available (Red Bull/Jiberish etc). Having stickers can simply mean you are showing your support for a company you like, at least thats what i do it for. It's also pretty cool if you have some rare stickers and if you do it nicely it can make a boring white helmet look dope.
 
I'll post it in here as well i guess. Whether it's cool is highly subjective, but i don't see anything wrong with it, why do you ask?
 
i dont have a proper answer of why i care, its just like one of those things ive wondered about, what others than me think of it
 
I like putting stickers of companies that I support on my stuff. I also like the way it looks, it makes my helmet or my laptop more interesting to me.

Repping a ski company, ok, repping energy drinks (especially Red Bull because it's athlete only) looks effing retarded.
 
Meh. I think it's fine, people have stickers, they want to show what companies they like, so they display them - it happens in EVERY sport, who hasn't seen a kid with a sticker on his skateboard or worn a football jersey, it's pretty much the same thing.
 
Rep the stuff you are all about. I promise noone is "all about" 25 different things tho. I think tasteful is the key. Its like the kid that drives the clapped out cavalier with the tuna can and 2 ft high wing, sticker flames and NOS stickers all over it. Tacky!!! but the problem is the more you stare the cooler he thinks he is.
 
well, in some way i think it's cool, i really like the look of it, but I still find it wrong, because it looks like you're pretending to be sponsored...

 
it doesn't bother me unless they have say Line stickers all over and they are riding on Rossis, stickers are there to represent the gear you are wearing, not just for show
 
How is it pretending to be sponsored? The companies basically throw these stickers at everyone, not only people that buy their stuff, so i fail to see your point?
 
i think there no problem if you want to show the company you like but don't put some sticker that you'r not suppose to put cause people will really think you are spons like redbull,jiberish and some other that i don't really know.

 
if stickers were to make you look pro, companies wouldn't give them out to everyone. i have stickers all over my shit cause they are brands that i love and i like having stickers all over my shit.
