ride up the pipe at like an 80 degree angle, not 30 like the stupid little racers, if you ride up at a shallow angle and get out, youll leave your skis out and people will laugh and ridicule you until the end of your days

coming in backwards, leaving a ski out and going strait to your head can do some damage too, like making things change colors. O and if you are out riding and want some tips, just ask, there are few people out there that wont help... but whatever you do, DO NOT go up to people and start out with 'Peter, that left wall is really scary' they will still help you, but all respect will be lost. just start small and progress, my first big air out (at our pipe, 'big' air = 5 ft) scared me, and yea speed, going up a vertical wall does slow u down

Yea, like a couple people have said; You just have to learn as you go. It's hard to teach anyone anything over a forum. Find someone at the hill to whatch you ride and give you some pointers...
