Help the VIICE squad get their shit back!!!

Early AM last wed...over $10,000 worth of CUSTOM ONE-OF-A KIND SKIS and RARE JCBC Jackets (2) were STOLEN from one of our vehicles parked in front of the factory while Scotty slept on a couch after busting his ass working to build skis until 2:30 in the am just 4 feet away.

I am new to the discussions...but I heard through the grapevine that this was the one of the best places to get eyes looking out for your gear...especially when it is custom shit.

Attached are some pics of the one-of-a-kind skis that were stolen from one of our vehicles in front of the VIICE factory here in SLC (Midvale), UT. I do not have the details on the soft goods stolen other than they were 2 very rare red JCBC (Extremely high-end Rossignol brand ) Jackets, and a POC full face helmet & goggle system, as well as the 4 pairs of custom-built VIICE skis with the Vist bindings.

3 pairs were of the "La Nina" NOAA weather pattern "The Goods"- blizzard hitting the Wasatch front - top sheet graphic- super custom...only 3 in the world. 2 pairs of 177's and a 197. One of the 177's has a red VIICE custom base (mine), while the others are black. On the 197's the VIST bindings are orange.

The 4th pair stolen (also 177's) were the "Ghool" graphic topsheet. Black and white skull tattoo graphic with a black VIICE base. I don't have a pic - but you can see them in the FOX news story as well as on the www.viiceskis.com website.

Here is the link fom the story last night where the Security footage was released...

Snowbird Public Safety informed me about ski trafficking to Vegas and California and surrounding states (and visa-versa). Any extra assistance would be great. These are one-of-a kind custom skis-if you see them - they are stolen!

You can see the graphics under the "Gas Pedal" model at http://www.viiceskis.com .

Thank you for your help - please pass this around. I want to catch these assholes and since these are custom skis...it may be possible. If you have any tips or information you can reach VIICE skis at (801) 560-4109 or message me so I can go kick their ass.

Damn. On one hand with topsheets like those they should be easy to spot, on the other if your theif is even semi-intelligent they probably realize this and won't let them resurface around here. My buddy had his Obsethed's stolen and found them on KSL about a month later and got the guy arrested, so there's hope that not all of these stories end badly.

Yeah ...that is what we figured...the underground ski thief trade is a new one on me tho...heard about it from Snowbird Public Safety. Skis get stolen in one state and then transferred for sale across state lines...Luckely...I have friends all over as well and like you said...the topsheets are pretty easy to spot :) Emails have been sent to security offices of all resorts in neighboring states...as well as here. The other possibility is - the guys realize that they are total morons and stole one-of-a-kind items...and dump them in a dumpster. I guess that would be double edged as there is the off chance a kind hearted business owner sees the items, pulls them out and calls police.

It would be really nice if there idiots actually realized what they have and to save some sort of face -( as well as some out of pocket expenses of a small local-grown ski company) to just leave the gear in a pile at the back door of the factory.

Wishful thinking- But it would be nice.

i saw a vice van on LCC the other day, was wondering wat it was...sorry tho i will keep my eye out

maybe put a thread in ski gabber on non ski gabber too. more people see it, and if their custom topsheets some newschooler out there is gonna recognize them.

put this on TGR too

Thanks guys - I will do that - I have been looking on Craigs list Vegas and in California , AZ & NM but it is ard to keep up.... It is posted on TGR in the Sell Gear section

it makes sense they take em across state lines to sell, they know there are communities like this looking for them. you really gotta watch your shit lately.
