Wanderland/Save premier

Definitely Check this out!! Wanderland is a great movie with the best characters you've ever met. High lights are Radio Ron, super deeps pow in NY and Blindsole urban grinds. Make sure you are there.

I little bird with a broken collerbone told me that wanderland wont be playing thursday...

Wanderland will be playing in my DVD player starting tomorrow hopefully, so long as FedEx delivers that shit on time.

Wooooo! go Meatheads!

naw dude that's legit, they are moving it to the art auditorium, its wayyyy sicker than the OSH building and it's still on same time and shit. gunna be sick, I've decided just to bring a pizza instead is that cool? but im not sharing...

i cant say enough good things about wanderland. its one of, if not the best movie ive seen this year. just for reference, i was at IF3 so I saw almost all of the movies this year. fuck i hope i dont sound like a claimer

and ur a chicken and you didnt know it. signs that ur a chicken: u got wings, check. can you fly? nope. UR A CHICKEN

Well if that is the case, this is going to be out of hand because I just watched Save and I would say it was better than any other movie I've seen this year (which is just about all of them)

ok so I might be biased towards the meatheads, but MOST of save was a disappointment to me, with the only exception being Frank R. who absolutely owns urban rails hands down. He and Ahmet should have a fight to the death to determine handrail supremacy.

Overall Wanderland is a great film and can definitely compete with the big names. I've seen most movies from this year, and i was not stoked on SAVE nearly as much as Skimatic, which I thought was the best movie from last season.

i'll agree that some of the segments in save were a bit of a let-down compared to the same riders' segments in skimatic (houle and gagnier, for example - sick segments, but not ground-breaking). however, i thought overall the movie was amazing. the alaska segment had a great "friends roadtripping" vibe and a nice variety of powder, jumps, urban, etc. the big mountain segment (can't remember the riders' names - 1 skier, 1 boarder - off the top of my head) was super sick without dragging on forever like big mountain segments often do (coughRAGEcough). i even liked the random brief fishing interlude - reminded me of a ski movie adaptation of the life aquatic, and anything that reminds of the life aquatic in any way is awesome. jf cusson had a short but sweet comeback segment. and the movie wasn't too long - some people complain about this, but i can't stand when ski movies feel like they should've ended a half hour ago. i'd rather be left wanting more than bored to death.

and finally, frank raymond. really, it shouldn't be necessary to say any more than that, but for some reason the man is criminally underrated and unknown. absolutely the most ridiculous urban segment ever, after a very impressive park/powder segment. i'm a big ahmet fan (bristol mountain represent), and maybe the fact that his sick urban segment was in what i thought to be a TERRIBLE movie taints my judgment, but frank's segments were just....i can't put it into words. it has to be seen to be believed.

there is also going to be a wanderland premier on Saturday at Northeastern, so that should be sick too. i think its a $5 entrance fee
