Frequent, continuous, and long durations of wearing hats, beanies, or anything that pulls on the lining of your hair is asking for it to be strained. Diets are another issue but I know a lot of skiers that ski 100+ days out of the year and are never not in hats that all have the similar hairline...their hair is also longer as most skiers are, which is another factor. Not cutting it or maintaining it will make you have thinner and lesser hair down the road.

 
I'm man enough to say on NS that I'm in my late 20's and I'm going bald. I knew it was coming from all my uncles and dad, just wish it wouldn't have happened so early.

Im not overly sadistic but i always find it funny when the biggest prom king assholes in high school end up going completely bald in their 20s and 30s and have to wear an apolagetic facial expression for the rest of their life.

but in general i would feel bad for guys who go bald bc yeah it probably sucks.

The balding gene gets passed by the mother. Your dads baldness has nothing to do with yours. The best way to tell would be your moms brother.
