Walmart helmet un steezy?

yea so im getting pushed into wearing a helmet in the anvanced park.

i dont really want to get one and i dont really have the cash for an expensive helmet either.

would it be totaly lame and unsteezy of me to just buy like a plain black helmet from walmart or target or some crap? haha
 
it might be ok.

go to a bike shiop and buy a bike helmet, their the same thing as a normal ski helmet minus insulation for heat
 
Just buy a helmet from someone selling one on here. You can probably find one on here for about the same cost as a WalMart helmet, and it will be much cooler.
 
might as well wear a good helmet if you're going to have one. Get an older model of a helmet designed for snowsports. It's cheap and it works.

I find that I can't ski any jumps without a helmet...unless I'm just chilling and not trying anything big. It's just something natural, like putting on my seatbelt.
 
why are you worried about it's steezy factor? should be the last thing you worry about. And then why would you care what NS thinks. are you too insecure to trust your own judgment?
 
no i trust my judgement i was just looking for a little outside opinion thats all.

and im kinda unexperienced with helmets if that made any sense.
 
get those balloons they use for making balloon animals and make a helmet out of them. that way you could make it all colorful and make a dog standing on top of it for extra steeze.
 
Walmart baseball helmets are around $10... Personally, I would rather use the right helmet for the sport. But I've seen (one, in general) some kids take some gnarly crashes in a baseball helmet. Like, bounce their head of a rock going really fast and be okay. The helmet gets fucked up but your head is fine
 
Dude, its a helmet. Who cares whether its steezy or cheap. Get a good helmet. This is your head. Do you seriously want to risk a life long injury? Just cut back when you get buy a jacket, skis, t shirts, etc. but when it comes to protecting your brain spend the $60.
 
who cares? just get the cheapest one you can find. no one is really gonna care, and if they do their opinion probably isn't worth much anyway.
 
dude you might as well get a dcecent one casue that extra 30 bucks to get a better helmet is deff worth your head
 
Seriously dude, get a helmet that will actually protect your head (as long as it's for snowports it's all good). I'm studying different types of brain lesions right now, and that stuff is scary... shit can happen that you don't expect, and it's always better to know that you're safe or at least did the best you could to stop anything from happening. This is your BRAIN we're talking about!
 
if your parents are making you get one, have them buy it.

i got my parents to buy me the smith holt helmet with skullcandy audio. the sound is super nice

i dont put on my seatbelt though, and i could easily not wear a helmet hitting 60 tables, but i couldnt pullshit off them with out a helmet.
 
is that canadian or something because the bern helmets i saw yesterday were $90. They were the ones that looked like they has a beanie inside of them and has a visor built into their shell.
 
if its a helmet you're parents will probably be willing to help out, they'd obviously rather see you safe then have a head injury
