Wallisch's new tilts

anyone who thinks that the pictured tongue acts as the primary tongue for the boot is an absolute retard. I cant believe how many retards posted in this thread who actually believe the previous sentence to be true. "looks pretty unstable!," and "ankles are gonna break!" are you joking?

call me old fashioned but I like when ski boots look like ski boots

its something unique about our gear, having boots that look like fat plastic sneakers is lame to me
 
I hear ya and could agree, but it seems like the ski boot is the only piece of the skiing's gear right now that stylistically and functionally has not progressed at all. Mixing it up could only be a positive thing for the sport.

I like seeing new ski boot styles. Think it's pretty cool. But I don't like those boots, think they look kind of dumb.
Anyone else read the title of this thread as "Wallisch's new tits"?
 
stupidest thing ive seen in a while. and the fact everyone will have them next year and that they say "tom wallisch" on them is pretty retarded
 
Tom's boot for next year is the same fit as this year's boot, same tongue height, same cuff height, slightly tweaked liner, but with an Air Jordan looking cable cover you can tuck your pants behind just like your street shoes. It only looks like a different, non-supportive low-cut boot because his pants are tucked behind the cable cover.

It's pretty much the same Hot Dogger as this year. Booter and High Five will be completely different for 10/11.

Does anyone think burton would achally make skis new season, i looked up the pic with wallisch using them they looked pretty sick

i bet its just a normal boot that has a tongue that goes on top so u can tuck your pants into it to make it look like shoes.

the cable covers are pointless, i took the one on ym seths off first day, im guessing these are just hotdoggers with a white tongue and an ungly cable cover
 
if you click in on the photo they are normal legit full tilts, the tounge is actually a cable holder. you can take it off if you want. but those are dope.
 
kinda cool and creative i guess. looks dumb though imo, but i dont even like tucking pants into normal sneakers like that. its funny how one skier can have such an impact on ns though
 
first of all i have seen these boots first hand they are the same thing as the origanll hot dogger. all thats diffrent is that the cord cover happens to be a tung of a shoe. second of all stop bitching becasue ft is hella smart becasue this boot is going to sell. also its something new and you never see that in the boot industry.
 
I'm kind of confused as to why everyone has to say "OMG these look stupid as fuck, wow these are gay." I understand its a forum, and you write your ideas on forums but still? Yeah they are pretty weird, but honestly 10 years ago, spinning off jumps and doing rails was weird! Maybe this wont be the style for everyone but for a PRO, who is getting paid to wear those boots I might add, this is his style. Regardless of what he wears, he is AMAZING at what he does.
And also its a pretty cool idea(pretty amazed it hasn't been thought of before this.) It will be like cake for fat kids for the 'thug' skiers.
