So tom recently posted a picture of him holding new line skis. He commented saying he had been working with line to create this ski for over a year. Any thoughts on this? Is this his pro-model from line? Will they be any good and what will we expect out of them?

yeah it's a new promodel. He tweeted "Stoked to finally announce my new promodel with @lineskis" They look pretty sick but I havent heard anything else about the ski.

Not sure but id love to find out

Yeah this is his new pro model ski. the best simple description about this ski that I heard is its like if the chronic and tigersnake had a kid it would be the TW pro model. It sounds like a super sick ski so far from what ive heard.

From watching him and Niklas shred them they look like a pretty run of the mill medium-stiff park and pipe ski. They're definitely skinnier than the Chronics, so my guess is around 86 or 88 underfoot. They look a lot like Punx, wouldn't be surprised if they're very comparable skis.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect Tom to have as a pro model.

Second picture down, dimensions are 117/90/112. Not sure if anyone else has any info

from the description of the rocker profile

(12-3-12) from twig and comparing it to lines current models the rocker profile is similar to the magnum opus

for a hard charging comp skier i am confused to why he has made a pro model with such crazy rocker and almost zero camber. profile of a pow ski. its fuckin wierd

Because he's not really a hard charging comp skier anymore, he's definitely moving more into street parts. Also we don't know about the flex of the ski yet, could be stiff like the kartel with the shape allowing it to be buttery/playful. If he goes into more comps he may still ski the chronic

He never used the chronic in comps, just the topsheet. They look pretty stiff, Niklas was throwing dubs on them today and they didn't look floppy at all.

Apparently has fatter edges and fatter base. Should be a tougher ski than ones theyve had in the past. Lets hope...

Line has used the term "fatty base/edge" on almost every park specific model they have made for the last 5 years.

Not entirely true. When Tom was on Chronics, they actually were production models.

Whenever I saw him at PC he was on what looked like the new TWall pro just with chronic topsheets. It was obvious too because so many people have chronics at pc
