Wallisch is to the EAST as ________ is to the WEST ?

i like how the east is so proud of there riders and believe they are on top. With that than why do most of them move to the west??? wait thats right. Because the West is BETTER!!

Dane Tudor, Tanner Hall, TJ, Charlie Ager, Sammy, Abma, everyone in Nimbus, Sean Pettit, obviously Shane, etc. And whoever said we wouldn't recognize shane if he wasn't dead is wrong. He was a pioneer of our sport and a legend.
But if you're just talking park skills with flowy style maybe Delorme?

Sort of. If you can ski ice, you certainly know how to hold an edge, which is a great skill to have at 80% of ski resorts. But unlike ice, powder is three-dimensional. You can move left and right and forward on ice, but additionally you can move up and down in powder. I've seen way too many racers venture into the BC only to tip dive in their second turn to agree that people who can ski ice can ski anything. Of course, the classic gaper advice for avoiding tip dive is "just lean back", but leaning back creates terrible balance and doesn't allow for responsive, technical skiing.

Now if you can ski on avalanche debris, then you can ski on anything.

Oh im sorry, I didnt know tupac or biggie moved out to the opposite coast at an adult age to blow up........... toolbox

East coasters may be better at park for the majority, but they usually cant ski anything else. Where as west coast produces all around skiers. Sean Petit, WIley miller, Tanner Hall, etc.

ey yo but all sammy's been hittin is that back country, jeeaaah. That's where he's been takin his tricks no wha i'm sayin. jeah man.

Vernon, my hometown, bitch!

and Vernon is in interior BC

for all the Americans thats the westernmost province of Canada

And of course the OGsGlen Plake Scott SchmidtShane McConkey

what this should be is....why doesnt the West totally dominate skiing? Is it embarassing to have kids with 300 ft vert of ice come out west and stand out? Honest question.

thats actually a really good point most west coast skiers spend a lot of time in he pow and just skiing the massive hills

east coast skiers dont really have much else to do then hike a nice down rail with their freinds for like 5 hours cuase the winds to cold to ride the lift ect.

doug coombs and hugo harrison are both from the east, shows that tiny hills with hardly any vertical and shit snow cant stop you from being the best big mountain skier in the world, which both of these guys were at one time or another.

Sage, Seth, Eric Hjorleifson, Kye Peterson, Trevor Peterson, Shane Mconkey, Doug Coombs, Mark Abma, Rory Bushfield, Tanner Hall, Glen Plake, TGR, MSP, Level 1, Travis Rice, ANT, MFM, Eric Pollard, Dana Flahr, Ian Costco, Tim Durschi

Biggest Companies, Our riders are LEGENDS, most of those guys have been pros since wallisch was 6 and still super gnarly. The other young guys are still at the four front. You ahve one or two, I jusst got tired of listing.
