Wallisch is to the EAST as ________ is to the WEST ?

is this a list of west coast riders? Doug Coombs in from massachussetts and level one was an east-coast ski company. other than that i think you pretty much made your point
 
Well doug coombs got into skiing seriously in Bozeman at 17 and was in the JHAF. Just because you lived on the east coast doesnt mean you skiied there and the East made you good.

Uhh, no. The east coast has some elite guys, but just about all of the truly great skiers reside out west. Some grew up back east, but they all leave and go out west.

Look at the Powder poll. All those guys live out west.

Sage, Seth, Hoji, Abma, Tanner, CR, Ian Mac, Dana Flahr, Petit brothers.....The list goes on and on.
 
You are wrong, unless you come from a place where only park rats are recognized. Shane was still one of the elite big mountain skiers in the world at his death.
 
This is a myth. West Coast skiers get plenty of time on ice. East Coast skiers don't get to spend the time on steep mountains that West Coasters do. If you put one guy at Squaw and one at Mt. Snow, the Squaw guy will be a better skier, all other things being equal.

The east coast might produce better park rats, I will give it that. The west coast produces better skiers.

I grew up back east and moved west. Going west gave me a new appreciation of the word "steep." The east coast simply does not have the terrain.

Look at the major skiers for MSP/TGR. Look at the guys in Helis, throwing down the sickest lines. The majority of them come from the west.
 
Im pretty sure warnick is or was EAF (East as FUck)......east coast skiers are born to destroy the park and then they migrate west to become EAF (Elite as FUck) and reside in either summit county or park city.........thats my two cents.........and I think wallisch is to the east as wallisch is to the west as wallisch is to the world.

and NS i'm sorry that i've been on jksl's dick a lot recently. i've just had that true tail 12 on my mind a lot recently and it just really is amazing. that is all.
 
You clearly didn't read the thread.

And I feel that though many of the best park skiers are from out east, almost all the big mountain and best rounded pros (that I listed before) are from out West. Makes sense to me, based on what terrain each coast has to offer.
 
Have fun with your icy, short mountains on the east.West is where skiiers come to have fun.
The overall level of skiing is higher on the west. You have to stand out to go big out here.

 
What started the beef was Tupac getting shot in New York. After that Tupac became all about war. What got Biggie killed was him returning to cali after pac was dead. Besides Shug Knight killed both of those legends, he had gang he was apart of wack them. Mafia style.

If wallisch is biggie from the east, i would say bobby brown is tupac from the west. I know those two dont really have a grudge. But bobby is from Co and tom is from Pa. Also i would have to say Dumont is lil kim.
