So I have a bunch of Tom's stuff that I need to sell. I would prefer to use Paypal, but personal check works too. Also, I would like to ship in the USA, but we'll see what happens. Prices are firm, and include USPS parcel post in the USA.

Amplid Syntax, 178 with Amplid (Tyrolia) peak 15 bindings.

These skis have been used a few times for competitions and a little summer shredding at mount Hood. Used maybe a total of 10 times. There are a couple edge cracks, but no delams or any major problems. Bases are in solid shape. Bindings are in even better shape mounted center for a 26.5 boot, so around a 301 BSL.

Again, used maybe 10 times. the bases are in even better shape than the others, no problems at all. Normal top sheet chipping, but still an overall incredible ski. a couple edge cracks.

The Snytax is one of the lightest, poppiest, best park skis i've ever seen.

Sweet Protection Down Jackets

Pretty much the best jackets ever. Both of them are size XL and Goretex Windstopper, so super waterproof. They are down material, crazy warm, and have a solid fit. Tom is like 5'9" or so just for reference/sizing.

The yellow one is brand new, never worn outside. $400

The Green one has been worn a few times but in amazing shape. $350

SPY Soldier Goggles

Black Frames/Bronze Lens: Most versatile lens ever I think. They are in mint condition... no cracks, scratches, etc. $55 shipped

Vanular Pro Model/Gold Mirror: Best goggle ever from the Best skier. mint condition. $70 shipped

Older blue/red with Yellow lens. Small scratch on the lens but doesn't affect vision. Still in great shape.. if you are tired of changing lenses and need a low light lens this is is. $40 shipped.

Those skis are $822 brand new. I think half price for skis that are in mint condition isn't that bad. it looks like they only have one day on them.... 3 of the days were scafolding contests... they're pretty much in the condition that a pair of ski gets in after just a few days of use.

and those jackets are around 600 I think.

Bitch about the prices, but last time I checks those skis/bindings were like $1000 together.

Kids on NS expect the best deal ever. if you think the prices are steep, don't buy them.

edges crack faster in the heat/on hot rails (lots of heating on the rails and then cooling on the snow leads to weak points) and they were used in hood this summer.
 
idk is it just me or does this seem like a big punch in the face for every nser...like im not tryin to hate but tom prob got all that stuff for free? I kno that skiers need money but sellin stuff for that price when u prob got that stuff for free doesn't seem right? Again im not hating.
 
Have you seen that dude ski rails? hundreds of rails a day. ha, they're in good shape though... I can take close up pictures of any little blemish if people are REALLY, REALLY interested.
 
that's kind of what I was thinking too. people here are always the price police as well but that probably won't happen in this sale, and whenever somebody tries to sell something like oh this was "so and so's" everybody freaks out and says who cares. that is until tommy posts his gear up.... no hate here either though. we all need money and if kids want it, they want it.
 
I'm thinkin if your thinking that trying to sell stuff that you got for free is wrong, then welcome to the world. And if your just gonna complain about having to pay for stuff that other people got for free, why don't you just get good enough to get sponsored and you will see from the other side of the story. peace.
 
Eh... the thing is I don't make much money a year.... so Tom let's me sell his stuff for commission... If I sold everything for cheap it wouldn't even be worth it. Any one selling these skis would likely do it at that price. They're $800 skis new! 400 for a ski that is in great shape isn't that bad. or 600 for one of the best park set ups in skiing isn't bad either.

And, for this thread I just used Tom as the model since it A), helps the sale... and B), will keep all the kids from saying "OMG!! where did you get T. Wallz stufz??! did you steal it? buy it from hood?!?!"

 
I completely agree - like I said, if I had $400 right now you'd be shipping them tomorrow to me, but unfortunately I don't. Who cares if Tom got them for free - I see a bunch of stuff on here that people got for free from giveaways at Premiers and Rail Jams and stuff, really what's the difference except that these are worth more. They can't just give them away and how many skis can you really keep in your house over the years - to me it makes perfect sense, this is an opportunity to get a 2010 ski half off, and not just that, but one of the best 2010 skis coming out this year.

This sale is bull shit, jsut because its tom walisch shouldnt mean you can jack prices up. Half this shit he got was for free, absurd...

Sweet and Amplid are two expensive companies. Look up what a shop sells the same shit for and you'll see that the prices listed here are significantly lower. You're getting a deal on some hardly used product. Who cares if he got it for free, why does that mean he should give it away? You ever heard of a drug dealer that gave shit away? You can't be a gangster by not stacking cheddar.
