Wall Run Backflips

Can anyone do the back flips where you run up a wall and flip? If so how hard are they and do you have any tips, because I have been wanting to try one lately.

they are actually really easy, just sort of scary the first couple times. when you get to the wall, imagine yourself running straight up it, and look back until you see the ground. tuck your legs up a bit and your body will follow. when you're upright, extend your legs, et voila!

when you first start trying them, have a friend help you out. do it sort of slowly, and have them put their hands on the small of your back, to sort of give you something to rotate around. it also helps to keep you from falling on your back if you get scared halfway through and stop rotating (which happens alot when you first try these).

i really really wanna do one

they look like fun. i wanna do em in the halls at school. just kinda run at a wall and flip. i think that would be sick.

i used to do them untill i faceplanted on cement (i had on pants and they got caught weird and i never could tuck up, i just never did one after that but i can backflip just standing still. my advice is to try them on a mat first so if you do fall, you dont fuck yourself up. there real easy to do. just commit or you will hurt yourself.

my buddy learned them buy running off this wall and backflipping into a foam pit. Now i dunno now you do it with out a foam pit, but i would guess serious injury would result. Good news is it god him laid all the time.

You hold the left trigger or something, and run at the wall. Thats how the french guy in the alley teaches you in Tony Hawk.

yeah they are not too bad the thing u need to remember though that people often forget is to make sure u commit if u half ass something like that u usally get fucked up.

ive attempted one i did it in a school gym, it had really grippy pads on the wall and i did it onto a like matress thing, i landed on my stomach

go to a gym at like ur school or somewhere that has pads ON the wall. and like set a mat down right under where ur gunna land. then, you put one foot on the wall, not running, just put it pn, and flip urself over landing on ur hands so u get the feel. once ur like sick i think i got this, get a running start, put one foot around stomach height, then one foot about heard height, and just go for it dude u can def do it. heres one of me doing it on the day i learned it:

i can!! thats me in the very first clip.

the trick (for one-wall step) is to just plant your front leg as high as you can on the wall. then push off the ground with your back leg and swing it around as hard as you can. then flip. then land. i landed on my neck only once, hurt decently bad, but i recovered. dont try it on like a house wall or something until you have successfully landed one in a gym. people get hurt that way.

that was sick. whenever i tried doing 2 footers i would always fall back or lose too mcuh speed. i think i was just leaning too far back as soon as i met the wall.

yo i can almost guarentee that if u try it without jumping back off the wall, but like upwards if you know what i mean ull land it first try. not even kidding

i really wanna learn them, i might get my martress from my bed and put it outside for a while and try them, i was also considering backflips off my trampoline to the ground

just try a backflip on the ground on grass. its not that hard, the only thing that is hard about it is that u have to remember to jump up and flip rather than backwards and flip. also, remember to actually tuck up and do it. go for it

If you are just learning you should put a pad or something like a mattress under you so you don't hurt yourself if you don't make it all the way...

Haha... umm... trust me in that it'll be best to have a spotter for that. It's also getting used to the motion so like your first few tries, you won't make it around.
