wall rides comps are no fun cause most of us don't hav one to practice on year round... therefore, most of us suck on them, and will henceforth no compete.

ipso facto, you should have a rail jam instead...

i ride n*, which has a wall ride but either never puts it up, or does it wrong. plus i almost never ride b real unless n* is blacked out sooo.....

i don't have one to practice on...

I would have to agree.

For the rest out there that do ride B-Real, and do have a wallride to practice on, come on out, it will be tons o fun.

And for those that do not care, here is a easy solution, save you typing for a thread worth you precious time.

why the hell does every one like alpine and breal so god damn much for?

there is really nothing special about either place.

b real has too many asians, and is hard to get speed.

alpine has old people, and slighty better terrain than b real. if i want good shit, i'd go to kirkwood or squaw.

so someone please tell me why apline is sooooooooooooooo good.

and go ahead and flame me for my opinion.

1st amendment bitches.

cause Boreal has better jibs than Squaw, and Alpine has just as good of terrain, you just have do take off your panties and hike a little.

and northstar doesn't have a sea of asians and gapers. I think of you rode either it would be pretty easy to figure out why they pop off like champagne bottles.

Ahhhh....OLD PEOPLE. That's soOO funny.

And "slightly".... comedy!!!!

This guy is great.

Ya, squaw and kirkwood have good terrain, but their parks have been lacking.

Boreal has sick jibs and Alpine has sick jumps.

Alpine also has some of the best hiking terrain in the country. We hold it down on all ends, that's why people skip the *.

the reason why alpine is good is cuz you can straightline a chute, drop a cliff, shred a groomer, do some rails, and hit two perfect 40 foot stepdowns all in one run.  i can't think of anyplace else in tahoe where you can do that right now.

allright, I see why you guys like alpine so much. i'm just saying open up your minds to other places, alpine does not have everything, and in my mind is not tahoes best bet.

well thats just you opinion, which I strongly disagree with. Its also not just the terrain, but the atmosphere. Unlike squaw or heavenly with a bunch of snobs or n* with boarders with an attitude, alpine is chill.

there are some hot mamas at alpine, but squaw also has some hot asses in tight little ski pants. but boreal beats both of them cause that is snow hoe central. and who cares about the terrain park and shit, that isn't what it's all about. and why would you ever go to kirkwood, they make women pay ten dollars more for tickets so there is like no girls there at all.

I think I have a plenty open mind dude.

I was new to Tahoe last year and had passes to Alpine, Boreal, and Nstar. I went to all of them and enjoyed all of them, if I was to have a pass at ONLY one place in all of tahoe (including south shore) it would def be Alpine.

ya, I mean why ski alpine when you go to squaw with a bunch of fucking tools, pay 70 dollars for a lift ticket, get about 100 feet of vertical worth of fresh before its tracked and get hassled by a bunch of idiots. I guess the woods pretty good other than the fact its so far away its like easier to get to a third world country. I dunno, I dont mind if you dont ski alpine.

Just cuz someone doesnt think alpine is the best doesnt mean you guys have to rag on every other mountain. A lot of us get certain passes because of our economic shituation. Squaw is sick and you all knowit, you talk sh!t because you dont have a pass, otherwise you would hype it just like you do alpine. I couldnt afford an alpine pass this year because I turned 24, so I have my squaw(free), Kirkwood (300 for a full pass), Breal night pass (99), and Mount Rose (350) for those rainy days. I will be poaching alpine this year because it is the easiest mtn to poach.

No matter what, enjoy yourself and try not to talk too much sh!t.

no we talk shit on squaw cuz its a shit show, and there park is there for 2 weeks. I dont want to ski at a place where its Completely fucking tracked by say 8:30. And we dont hate on the people that are wrong, we just correct them and tell that they are not brite at times.

If I didn't think Squaws pass price was ridiculous, I'd get one, it

would be cool if my friends did too. Kirkwood is really far away, but its good. Northstars park is fun, so is Boreal. Heavenly is big, i get lost, glen plake laughs. Trying to find a close parking

spot at Alpine on a powder day or weekend sucks, a lot. DP is cool for

a day or two. homewood. Sugarbowl has some good

terrain. I want a sled. It would've been sick to win that Armada

contest. White Wolf has the most epic 1000' of vert ever, but only people with fines know that. No

one is right or wrong, because opinions are opinions.

so back to the point of this thread....Wall Ride comp tonight at boreal, i'll be there with a booth, stop by and say hi if your up there.

i want a squaw pass next season, alpine is dope but its bumming me out and i dont know why, maybe its the working there part. SOOO many asshole people work there its redicoulous.

I've ridden my RMK 700 waaaay more than I've ridden lifts this season, as little snow as we've gotten its been more fun to tool around the BC than to slide rails and boxes...
