Walking Dead Season 3 Thread

This is the only thing that pisses me off about the show. I feel like in a similar "real-life" situation, Rick would have walked in there, been like, "suuupppp," then blown the Governor's face off with his revolver, Andrea would have fallen on the ground and cried like the bitch she is, and Daryl and Herschel most likely would have been able to take out the Governor's thug before any of the good guys got killed. I also agree that Maggie should have killed Merle. However, while those scenarios would make for a few interesting episodes, I feel like the seasons would be like 3 episodes long haha.
 
Except for Daryl carrying that crossbow. I mean cmon I know it's badass and all and it's his go to weapon so he always has to carry it everywhere but you just snagged half a weapons bunker of automatic weapons and you know the gov is armed more heavily than a 3rd world country...and you still bring the god damn crossbow? Better not miss
 
Hmmmmm......my predictions for this Sunday's episode would probably be that Merle gets bitten and turned into a walker. Andrea gets tied up and beaten by the Mayor. Also Tyreese and his group get ready to fight Rick and his group
 
My predictions for this weekend...nothing fucking happens

Took the day off of work on Monday being in Boston for st. paddy's day and all. Me and my buddy decided to drink for everytime Andrea is annoying. I'm guessing we're blackout by 9:25
 
The last couple episodes have made me want to pull my hair out. I seriously can't stand all of the growing anticipation, if shit doesn't go down soon I'm gonna lose my mind. I feel like this season has been a huge let down.
 
i KNEW the governor wasn't going to go out that easily. No fuckin way. And Andrea done fucked up....she was soooo close to the prison....she shouldn't have slowed down and taken in the scenery...should have just kept moving until she was safe.
 
Andrea dun went full retard. She should've pulled the trigger in the beginning of the episode. I have a feeling there is going to he a gnarly torture scene next episode.
 
Why didn't Andrea take the truck after she got out of that building. Could have been to the prison in minutes and it's much more safe.
 
What if they delay the battle until next season and leave the last 2 episodes just with huge cliff hangers? Doubt it but if so I'll stop watching
 
Terrible episode

I loved all the convenient timing between Gov/Andrea/Walkers

She walks off the road when the truck drives by on the road...walkers materialize out of no where and shes trapped

She's walking in middle of the field - loud ass pickup truck out of nowhere instantly right on top of her - even though he drives slow enough to let her get into the woods..

She walks through the woods for hours (based on day light) happens to run onto some broken down building and BAM gov pickup truck once again out of nowhere

She escapes, makes her way to prison and surprise surprise the gov is there the instant before she break the tree line

It's like the writes aren't even fucking trying
 
I thought it was also bad this way, she has all the woods to run through, miles to spread out and he happens to find her multiple times
 
I mean there's only one way to the prison... unless you travel through the woods which I'm sure she didn't want to do, probably more walkers around there jumping out at you. She took to the roads, pretty easy to find her if he knows the route.
 
Guys, what you just don't realize is that before the zombie apocalypse, the Governor was MANTRACKER.
 
Just started watching the show last week. I'm only a few episodes into season 2, but fuck me, I can't stand that bitch Andrea.
 
Yeah it all seemed too convenient. Atleast have some scenes of the governor picking up on her trail/tracking.

The only excuse i could see is that maybe the governor knows the woods like the back of his hand, and knew the quickest way to the prison
 
I was re watching season 2 and I'm pretty sure Randall (the kid prisoner) was from Woodbury. He said its not too far, well supplied, about 30 people with women and children and they were well armed with heavy guns and full autos
 
Shit's getting a little stale, and if they don't end the Woodbury vs Prison by the end of Season 3 I will be very skeptical of Season 4 being any good.

Just get it over with for fucks sake.

Battle it out - let most of the Woodbury thugs get killed, a couple from the Prison, throw in a Merle twist and then have Season 4 be about them leaving and/or being found by scientists. Or throw in some shit about an island where survivors are heading to....that'd be cool
 
i know exactly how you feel. the last 2 seasons have been entirely not at all about the rest of civilization. i want to know whats going on elsewhere, so they should tie in some sense of HOPE instead of this show just being about how long it is going to take for everyone to inevitable die.

i hope the baby is immune to the virus, because the mother was carrying it. thatd be sweet. and a gated / safe community that they can try to get to instead of just doing the "dont die today, dont die today" dance all the time
 
seriously, im so sick of this stupid fighting between ricks group and woodbury, its just getting lame, i think there dragging it out way too long
 
I hope the baby (judith?) is either immune to the virus or gets eaten. If they plan on leaving the prison after this season the baby will only slow shit down, having to carry it around and look for food all the time, and keeping it from crying. I say use it as zombie bait, it might not even be Rick's baby.

And i hope Andrea gets eaten by a fat ugly zombie with herpes...
 
is there a reason ricks group hasn't cleared the zombies from the field? I mean they did it once they could do it again.

they should be tilling up that field and planting some crops.
 
Harder to invade the prison if you have to fight zombies and people with guns. At least thats my thought IMO. Similar reason why the Governor was hording zombies, use them as weapons, etc.
 
A car is a pretty easy target, and harder to shoot from. If people attack by driving their cars up the road, shoot out the windshield. Makes a lot more sense to attack on foot, and there the zombies are an advantage, defensively.

Though if I was attacking the prison I would camo myself as a zombie and just wander my way in until close enough to attack.
