Walking Dead Season 3 Thread

Don't bullets have casings or something that fall when you shoot? (non gun expert here)

And as I the phone they started that scene with Rick hearing voices, so that's why I figured he's just going nuts. However the way they ended the episode like that makes me think they're hinting at some larger 'government-knows-whats-going-on" style conspiracy..

I didn't think he picked up the casing I thought he dug out the bullet, wasn't really paying close attention. I am prob wrong then, my b my b!

I think it's the scientist from Woodbury. I'm betting that his experiment he needed a lot of power for was the phone call.

But why call a prison that he has no idea is inhabited or not? Unless they already know Rick and his gang are there...

probably just dialing #'s he knows from before. His brother was probably in prison..

And what prison just has a phone sitting some backroom?

idk just the first thing that came to my head. but as pointed out above, theres some major flaws in that theory

I would bet that that phone is unrelated to Woodbury. Way to far fetched.

Government conspiracy, or Rick imagined it.

Ya i quickly realized it was super unlikely. Maybe someone else is alive in another part of the prison? I can't think of anything besides that or gov't conspiracy

well we know from the trailer that they are going to meet up at some point. And its right about mid season right now...

I am in the middle of no where, Nebraska and haven't scene the new episode. Please please please someone fill me in.

Lost so fucking hard

Trying to not look at this thread! I missed last night episode :(

Can someone PM a link to watch it? So I don't get spoiled - fb already is screwing me up. Bastards.

Initially I thought the phone call was going to be from carol, calling random phones inside the prison hoping someone would answer because she's lost or something.

idk, i feel like if they were going to do that, they wouldve just put it in the last nights episode, not build up hype and make us wait a week to just be utterly disappointed

Nah dude, It will be that way. Yes the show is not the comics, but based off of how comic oriented this episode was I feel like we are gonna see it this way for sure next episode. Rick's losing his damn mind!

Or it's actually something real and when he goes back to tell the group they're like "no were not leaving your losing your fucking mind dude." Which will put even more stress on him and potentially cause him to actually lose his mind..

the shot would leave an empty casing and after the bullet hit concrete it would shatter into many many pieces of which would be much smaller than what rick picked up.

kinda of a weird episode. Anyone think the "pharmaceuticals" prisoner and the scientist are brothers or something? I guess we don't know what type of scientist he is. maybe he was a cook.

referring to the fat zombie that supposedly ate laurie. there were NO remains of her body, there is no way he ate her bones and all. and the blood smeared on the ground, you could see her ass-print in it, it looks like her body stayed there until the blood dried, and then got up and moved away. just saying. theres a lot of loose ends with lauries death still

anyone else think darryls poncho looks super badass? cant say who called rick but I really hope its not his imagination. doesnt really make sense to me that someone would call that particular phone though because you would probably have to navigate through the prisons entire automated phone system and be redirected to a certain line, like that phone in some back room.

the governors book; any insight into what it may mean? we know his daughters name is penny, but who were all the other girls names in the book, and why were there just pages and pages of tick marks after pennys name? way too many tickmarks to me counting days... i dont remember the comics well enough to make sense of that. even though the tv show does its own thing a lot of the time

I think the zombie was Laurie (tho it didn't look too much like her, I'd think you'd be able to tell) and Carl didn't actually shoot her - women's bellies don't magically deflate once the baby is out. Why Rick was stabbing the belly? No idea. Mad that the baby that might not be his caused the death of the wife he seemingly didn't care about til he lost her?

i dont think that was laurie, that looked like and old fat guy to me. no way it was laurie, sophia actually looked some what the same when she turned, i feel like laurie would to with just a fucked up stomach

In talking dead the directors said that the zombie had consumed lorie, thats why its stomach was so bloated and it had bloody hair coming out of it's mouth
