he ain't dead yet mang! they said there's only one way that he'll make it, and then he started choppin' off his leg with the ax. i'll bet he survives...at least for a little bit. they'll have to find the infirmary so they can get an iv in him though....

haha, i pretty much did that for the first two seasons. they were already completed before i picked the show up and after the first couple of episodes i was hooked. blew an entire weekend watching episodes back 2 back 2 back.
 
It was confusing. It looked like he just passed out of shock, but then I thought to myself how could an old man with stand that much pain.

And IDC if its a show or not. Carl is annoying, and gets into trouble too much
 
Almost puked, that's probably a thumbs up for the producers. I hope Loris baby is a zombie and eats her from the inside. Rick seems like he's PMSing. Carl has the hots for the blonde daughter. This season looks tooooo good. Oh yeah and Rick hacked a leg off a living person wtf.
 
I'm really hoping they flashback to the winter we never saw. I feel like it just picked up in a random spot. regardless I'm stoked to see what happens in the prison and those zombie slaves the black chick has lol
 
only started watching this today. ended up watching an entire marathon of season 2 and then the season 3 premier. So I just started the first pilot episode tonight. holy shit i'm addicted
 
Exact opposite. Rick is manning up and FINALLY taking control of the group..this group is no longer a democracy and he doesn't give a shit what everyone else thinks his only concern is survival. However, I see some conflict between the group and the prisoners as Rick flexes his muscles and tries to maintain his alpha dog status. From here on in he isnt going to trust any other group even if they are friendly and its gonna cause some bloodshed

Also I'm glad the producers kept the show realistic (as far as zombie shows can go...) by having Herschel pass out due to the massive amount of pain he was experiencing. Most shitty action movies/shows would have had him coherent and screaming in pain

Did they explain how much time had passed? Because that one bitch is pregnant as hell now, yet Andrea is still under the care of that black/zombie herder woman, what happened there?

 
herschel is a fucking idiot though...going walking right past the zombie just sitting there without even checking to see if it's dead first...notice how rick poked the dead zombie guard in the watch tower before grabbing the keys....he knows what's up...
 
yeah the whole winter went by from then running from house house to survive. and we don't know what happened with michonni/black girl and andrea she probally got sick over the winter
 
Holy shit me too when she said that I was like that totally needs to happen because she's just seriously annoying right now. And the producers would probably do a really good job showing that.
 
they didnt "get" any silencers..theyre clearly homemade silencers up with some sort of flashlight tube. Not sure what carl's silencer is made of but ricks looks exactly like a maglight barrel..theres actually tons of ways to make homemade silencers, although theyre effectiveness is questionable
 
rick has never been a great leader. The group has never been a democracy. It has just been rick less sure of himself. every episode is him doubting the decisions he's made and him trying to rationalize them to his wife. I think maybe he wouldn't be such a dick alpha if he was just a little more confident in his own abilities and his groups. his lack of confidence if pushed on everyone else in the group.
 
I used to be a huge Carl Hater but now he's being a total badass running around with that cool looking silenced gun while also macking that beth sloot whose 4 years older or whatever.

Lori can go die though i guess
 
For whatever reason when Rick picked up the axe I was expecting a clean one-swing cut. But then he's just hacking away and my roomies and I are all jaws on the floor like.. fuck...

is it just me or are they not ultra smart? instead of going in the fence for the second time why didn't they just stand on the toehr side and head stab them when the zombies came and tried to walk through the fence. sort of a useless risk.

also, with hershel. saw that coming, cant believe he just stepped over that zombie.
 
whaaat really? i didnt like herschel that much, im sorta okay with taking his lame old character out. i found that carl seems to have matured A LOT over the break. he can handle his shit, kills zombies with that boss silenced pistol, has a deeper voice, overall less pathetic. i hope Lori's baby dies inside her and turns into a zombie fetus and kills her from the womb, thatd be rad but won't happen.

so so pumped on this episode though. wishin i hadnt read the comics now though because i was able to predict pretty much everything that happened that episode. i wont talk comics in this thread but man, im pumped. stoked to see how they develop the prisoners characters etc

also excited to see development of michonnes character in upcoming episodes and BEYOND stoked to see how theyre doing the governor. i really hope he's fucked up.

i like all the new weapons theyre getting, hopefully that leads to intense zombie massacres. and RIOT GEAR ZOMBIES?? jesus murphy this show has it all.
 
okay i kinda made an assumption there. i honestly dont remember if herschel dies in the comics when they chop off his leg. dont let that sway youre expectations, because now that i think of it, i really have no idea if he lives haha

I did find it kind of silly that they didn't know to go under the armor of the guards in the neck area...really, it took you that long?
 
also is it just me, or are they extremely carless of the zombie blood they get on them, my stabbing pole would not be a dagger, it'd be at least 3-3 and a half feet long to get some distance form blood splatter,
 
i love this show sooo much, best episode by far, kind of happy that their doing more zombie fights then stupid ass drama.
 
I think you cant be infected by drinking zombies blood, its more like aids(ie: a girl cant get aids by blowing a guy... but you you can get aids if your blood have a contact with the person who has it). hope you guys understand what im trying to explain haha
