Wakesurfing

Anyone here wakesurf? I discovered this wonderful sport this weekend on the back of my friend's boat. Dude, it's so fucking fun. If you've never tried it, yur missing out.

I must agree. Its pretty much rad. After Wakeboarding, its right up there for me. Definatly no where near as hard as real surfing, but once your able to get going for a while, and able to do some rad slashes and cut backs, its super dope. Its pretty easy too, I can get going easily for about 5 minutes at a time.

whats the difference between wakesurfing and wakeskating?

wakesurfing is a small surfboard that you ride without a rope on the crest of the wake right behind the boat. wakeskating is on a rope back by where you normally wakeboard. wakesurfing is the shit.

For me, we just use our surfboards. I have a jetski so whenever we don't have a big boat with a good wake, he just pull out a tow rope about 4 feet long and shred like that. And no, it really isn't hard at all, in my opinion, easier than wakeboarding. It's super funny to cut hard and spray the people on the boat.

And this wasn't in the X-games, wakeboarding was.
