For all of you who do it know, it is a way of life once you start you are hooked. Who wakeskates around here? and what boards are you guys riding?
 
i wakeskate and wakeboard. wakeskating is sic. i suck. but the guys that are good are so much fun to watch. im riding a bi-level that i built modeled after the cassette bi-level.
 
yeah i wakeboard but my friends just got me hooked on wakeskating, actually im goin out to buy my own board in like 20 min.
 
yea, i have a bi-level as well, a devotid it is sick! How did you make the bi-level? did you use the casette hardware? You should post some pics
 
nah i built my own hardwhere using aircraft aluminum for the spacers. did all the milling on a machine in school. then drilled and tapped the holes. Then got stainless hardware from ace the helpful hardware place. It was a mega bitch to build but it was pretty cool. its really heavy though. The real ones are 2-3 pounds lighter. Its cool though. im prolly gonna take it apart this year and just use it as a single deck.
 
i wakeskate! i gave up boarding cus i sucked so bad, but i love wakeskating. i have a hyperlite scape from 04 i think, so nothing special. cleared the wake last summer, but still can't do anything too cool.
 
i wakeskate i got hooked on it 2 summers ago and will never stop. its amazing. its so much fun and i love it.

i have an 06 hyperlite. and i wakeskate on minnetonka
 
yeah the first time i did it we had 2 people double wakeskating and dropkicking eachother off. it was soooo fun. chicken on wakeskates ahah. but yea that was at nybora wakeboard camp
 
I was at Pine tonight fixin my shizz, and was lookin at the new wakeboards, I MUST SAY that the Liquid Force "Shane" is maybe THE sickest board EVER. Along witht the SHANE binding. By far the sickest setup Ive ever seen and I think Im going to be riding that on Memorial if I go to my buddies house. Im very Excite!
 
The new Ronix stuff is supposed to be super sick. If you havent seen their stuff take a look at it. The owners from hyperlite left and started this new company. They also took some riders with them too.(Parks, harf, copeland, and some more i cant remember). its kinda like how Armada is doin biz.
 
I'm buying the open toe shane bindings, but riding them both i actually like the PS3 alot better the the shane board
 
the new ronix bindings are the most comfortable binding ever. The liner is heat modable like a ski boot so theres no pressure points anywhere.
 
youve got to be on nybora. which is gay as fuck so i cant do it anymore. but yeah they have 3 boats. 2 supras and a malibou. all like brand spankin new and its fun u go out from 8 till dusk for 3 days then go go carting at night haha
 
yeah he skis, hes my boy steve. you got a beef with him, then its with me too.

scott you should come out to my house july 5-7 with stas and possibly eric. It will be full of high times, cliff jumping, frolf, golf, and southern fun!
 
way to back me up Reed, and yea i ski dude. what kind of dork hangs out on a ski site and doesnt ski. Does that make you feel good questioning my ski skills? hhahaha Maybe youll have to ski with us, and see the skills. haha, but i also have other interests didnt know that it offends others sorry dude.
 
well, i am down for those dates. and ill tell you what steve, this is my topic and i started it so ill talk about whatever the fkk i want to... hahaha, and maybe ill just start planing my vacations on this wakeskating topic. so ya reed im down, and stazz give me a shout and we will figure it out. when you moving back to carroll?
 
wakeskating is so fun. all i can do is pop shuv and 180's but it's still really fun. kackflips are way hard. i'm just bummed i can't wakeboard or skate this year cuz of a knee injury.
