the pogression in wakeboarding is so fast that i wouldn't even reccomend a biginner board. first of all the cost nearly as much and it will seriously prohibit your pogression. I ride a hyperlite scott byerly 137. it's a little tricky to ride but once you get the hang of it there's no going back. A board like the hyperlite belmont(sean murray pro) is a really easy board to learn on but still high performance enough for one of the top pros in the industry. shell out a few extra bucks and get a good board that will last you a while.
