WAKEBOARDING

thats a hyperlite parks 133, its a great board but it takes some getting used to, I fell flat on my face a few times the other day.

I can do a few tricks. Best one yet is jumping the wake without falling and hurting myself. I've attempted at like 360s and landed em, but mainly just incomplete 360s making me land on my head. It's pretty hard on ur legs when u do that, but its also worth it I think.

that's a pretty nice board there. I wanted to get a newer one this year, but I'm buying skis, a new wetsuit and a wakeboard bag this summer. Plus, I'm going to a wakeboard camp and they can hook me up with some nice stuff for pretty cheap there.

I went to camp in florida for a week this winter. I learned so much, before I went I could clear the wake and really sketch 1's and now I can almost back roll, it helps a lot.

Yea, I'm hoping to get really good. A week at camp, then like 3 weeks at shasta with friends to improve. The water there can get pretty messed up though. Aw well, dawn patrol will have to do.

I hate using new equipment especially because I've used the same stuff since i started wakeboarding. I guess it prolly does take some getting used to, but the first time i used one of those wakeboard ropes, it tore something in my arm because i wasn't used to that tenseness in the rope. Different boards are prolly definately good things though especially if they help with performance.

I wish I could build sliders and kickers. I asked about it to the lake association and they said there was too much liability, that kids who werent good would hit it and get hurt. They were probably right but it still pissed me off.

I could see some stupid kid trying to hit a rail and just smacking right into it or something.
