Wakeboard Dub

My high school summers were dreams, my family owned a Mastercraft X-10. MC is arguably at the top of the game for boats, and it looks like they've redesigned the X-Star even better. That boat throws a meaty fucking wake with a sick lip to it. That switch 9 off the double up was beastly and was that a crow 1080 @3:32? Or just a 7? My trick knowledge is rusty now. I think I saw a whirly 7 in there, and that dub is for sure called a Temper Tantrum (double tantrum). That trick is uncommon but it is over 10 years old, dubs in wakeboarding are nothing new. Nobody has landed a triple yet :(

^^sick video!! Parks has landed that double half cab move before, such a hard trick. Could do the double half cab roll with his eyes closed though. One year Darin Shapiro nearly landed a triple front.

yeah dude my thoughts exactly

i'm also pretty sure you ski with my boy Tom Sherwood at deerfield?

People have been doing dubs on wakeboards for quite some years now. The first double was landed in the late 90s. This is just such a huge deal because it's off the wake, with no double up. That w

ake looks rediculous

nahh dude I go to Loomis Chaffee, I used to go to school with Sherwood though haha small fucking world

Yeah I know absolutely nothing about wakeboarding. When I saw how epic they made the dub look i was like "golly gee that must be the first one, let's make a thread!"

Do you think those guys really get that up early every day to ride? Or are they just trying to make themselves look dedicated?

I wish I had a wakeboarding boat, 21ft center console fishing boat doesnt let you do much besides barely clear the wake and throw some grabs or a 180 in

Its when the boat produces a wake and turns around with the rider to come back at the wake they just left, the rider then try's to hit the wake at a perfect time where the old wake and new wake coming off the produce a giant wake which launches them a lot higher and farther than usual. Not sure if that was a good explanation
