Wake up..

those are sick.. I'm so stoked right now. I ordered a new wakeboard because I broke my old one in half after landing on a hidden rock in a part of the bay where I never really been before. and also put an order in for this years mastercraft X-55. fuck yeah. new boat and board
 
That's so dope. What kind of board did you order? I'm going to be getting a whole set up after I buy my sled...snowmobiling is more important haha. But I'm so stoked on wake anything. My boyfriend's a boat mechanic so he works on wakeboard boats here in Washington. It's so awesome.
That boat is pretty DOPE though. You're lucky. We've been borrowing a Malibu which has no wake at all, it's a ski boat, and the other day we shredded the dopest Nautique. I can't even believe what a Mastercraft pull is like...I want my boyfriend to get on with them so bad.
 
bump. I ordered a 2011 liquid force ps3 board, I had last years and loved it until the rock killed it, and yeah mastercrafts are sick. The wakes are huge and buttery. It was a shit ton of money though. 5 of my friends and I saved up for a couple years to get the boat. but they are worth the money. also get tanks to make the boat wake bigger. It helps on most boats. If your bf is a boat mechanic he should know what I'm talking about.
 
The only thing that sucks about wakeboarding is you have to know someone with a good boat, or live near a place.

Luckily i used to be friends with a bunch of people that had boats, mostly no towers though :(

One lake thats narrow near my house and always come. My buddy had a ridiculously nice boat with a tower, a jump and a couple rails. Unfortunately they were dredging it 2 or 3 years ago because of all the sand that was washing in from rain storms. Went out, no problem, came back, the dredging pipe had raised up when they stopped= boat fucked/dunzo'd

Build a ghetto tower with 2x4s with my cousin on lake ontario for my uncles 80 ghetto boat. Filled the back with rocks in buckets and cinderblocks. Were actually able to get some pretty good air. Had to to retesion the lines we were runnimg from the tower every couple runs though. Actually got pulled over by the coast guard with it.

A wakeboard and wakeskate were my first ever purchases from evogear 8 years ago. Back when the outlet was full of baller deals and nobody was there to steal them

nostalgia/cool story hansel. Honestly haven't been on a wake board in nearly 2 years. :(

My fam got our boat back in 2000, towers were less mainstream and it doesn't have one, and my dad didn't wanna drop six Gs on a quality custom tower when he might end up getting a newer boat soon. So I have one of these pylons and they are way sick, actually more sturdy than most towers.

After watching these videos though, I wish Utah had some kind of place to hit jibs on the water, even if they were just in the lake. A cable park would be ideal though.
 
I doubt it's sturdier than most towers but it seems like it's pretty fucking sturdy. I mean a whole metal unit, or a pole that's just tensions on all sides.

The place I wish I was to ride the most is arizona/new mexico and those areas. Fucking lakes in canyons and shit. So dope

Anyway, the setup in that first video looked so ridiculously fun. I would love to get a chance to ride that.
 
newschoolers discount? haha. but those mastercrafts are expensive. We got the boat I said earlier in the thread but now $10,000 in debt. We have to pay the guy by the end of february or the boats his. we got $3,000 so far. but it looks like our old boats getting sold soon so Yayy!!!! no more debt!!! Yeah but the guy we bought it from was a dick. He said the boat was $20,000 cheaper than what it actually was. anyways have fun at hyperlite.
 
me and all my homies have wakeboard boats and we board er day during the summer at our lake houses..we all have houses on otis reservoir in massachusetts also tubing behind my wakesetter is fucking dope especially when the bladders are filled ooowwwiii
 
Hahah I just replaced our pylon with a tower on my mastercraft prostar 205. I looks so much better. The pylon sucked. took away all the bow seating with its braces.
