has anybody tried wake skis??? they look awesome!

-theres a video on there and a bunch of pics^^^

-it looks like this company is the first to make them

-if anybody knows more about them, and possibly where i could get a pair lemme know...

 
Original, but I don't know if it will work a lot. well probably it will, but it will be criticized for a couple of years for sure
 
ive seen something similar but nothing like the ones i saw on that website (www.nationswakeski.com)... theyre normally much shorter, like snowblades, these are like two wakeboards squished together, kinda like wut they did with snowboards to make twintipped snow skis
 
Who has tried these im thinking about getting some to try i wakeboard alot but like all of us i am a skier not a snowboarder
 
yea thats the problem, the lil snowblade lookin ones are only like $150 but the ones that look like "real" wake skis are like $750, i think iz b/c they havent gone into full production yet since its a new sport
 
except waterskiing u cant ride switch, u dont get any air off wake cuz theres no pop in em, and u basically cant do anything besides carve back and fourth
 
these threads always pop up right about now. it looks like it might be fun to try but i would much rather just wakeboard. you can probably do alot more
 
yeah the hardest part of rollerblading is telling your parents your gay.

wake sports are so much better than anything on concrete. if you dont have a boat it sucks cuz your allways having to ask people to pull you but if you have a boat and a wetslip or pier its a hell of alot better
 
nations wakeskis are expensive but theres also a much cheaper version of wakeskis. you can get them from overtons.com and they are called hoppers wakeskis. they are 149.99 and they come with binding, not sure how good they are but its definately a way cheaper way to get into the sport

yeah its pretty much gay, i mean sure, id deffinatly try it but i would never spend money on it. wakeboarding is alot better.
 
i got a wakeboard, i wanna try out the skis, they were 150 and i made a thread in non ski gabber and im gonna post a review soon
 
I foresee this becoming the new trend at the lakes this summer, right up there with street skiing and inline skating.
 
ive done a 3 off the big jumps for waterskis, i still didnt find if fun it doesnt feel like skiing so i wakeboard and i love wakeboarding its so much fun
