If I had mad money like he does, and like they do. All of these rich people.

I would do sick stuff like that, like see a kid trying to get better on a wal-mart board. I would give him a brand new board free. I mean that's just awesome.

I'm not a fan of his music but that's awesome he did that for those kids. Funny how things like this can totally change your view of someone.
 
That's pretty awesome. I could say when you have that much money no big deal. But considering how some people make a shit ton and yet give nothing back, this is fucking legit.

Good for him. Don't know him, probably wouldn't like his music but whatever. I dig it
 
That's tight, but philantropy is nothing new... Bunch of industiralists in the early 1900's would donate large sums of money (like Waka in this case) to make themselves seem kind hearted. Andrew Carnegie founded a college and helped create several libraries.

But I think skateboards for kids are way cooler than libraries for kids, especially now-a-days
 
i know what your saying but that is not like what waka did. waka didnt set out looking for these kids, he just randomly came across them. i guarantee waka would have done it video taped or not. props to waka for a breaking a rapper/rich person stereotype (not giving 2 shits about everyone else)
 
it was the white kid filming everything with his iphone that irked me more. the asian was just excited. but neither her nor there. good deed by someone who i thought didnt have a good bone in his body. i am impressed.
 
you guys need to chill, I bet you'd be loud if some famous rapper randomly decided to buy you a new deck for no reason.
 
haha, that was awesome. I didn't even find the kids annoying. They were generally stoked that someone would do this for that.

And yeah, I hope that at some point in my life, I can help someone out like that. Maybe not buying 15 decks, but being able to give a new deck to some kid riding a busted old board.
 
That was maddddd chill for Waka to do hands down wouldn't have expected that at all.

His music is pretty bad, but I guess enough people like it for him to be able to do shit like that, which I respect. It's quite literally pocket change for him as you can see, not enough people do this, or atleast not that we hear about.
 
so dope. that someone in that position wold take some off their time just to give back is awesome to see. Not a huge fan of his music but i respect him so much more now. The Asian kid is just over excited He reminds me of a kid i know.. So legit of waka to give back this was a great thing to do.
