Waiting List

Long story short I'm and out of state incoming freshmen to U of U and have been put on a waiting list for the dorms. Is anyone else in my situation, and does anyone know what happens if I end up not getting in a dorm? Apartment maybe?

very strange, but most people live off campus so they don't have much on campus. Call the U though, don't ask here. The housing office will better help you.
odds are you will be fine.

Oh I already did call them, they said I should be fine. They explained the situation to me and it made no sense, but nothing really I can do about it. I guess this thread was more for "is anyone in the same situation I am?" Anyways thanks for all the input and help.

I was put on the waiting list two years ago and everything worked out fine for me. A bunch of people give up rooms last minute. Some rooms even become available after move in day because people were too lazy to cancel and it is only like a $20 charge. Everything should work out for you.

Just updating for everyone and anyone that cares... it was no problem getting to the rooms, just reserved one. I'm staying at Chapel Glen which wasn't my first choice but whatever. Thanks for the help all, and hope to see at least some NSers out there when I get to school.

i lived in chapel glen and it was sick. you'll enjoy it
