Waiting for People

don't you hate waiting for people who say they are going to show up at one time and then end up showing up like 30 mins to an hour later? how do you plan for that?
 
I fucking hate that shit. Like people are like "I'll be down in 2 mins" cuz we bout to go to a party but they take a fucking half hour and show up like nothing is wrong.
 
ahaha yea i was thinking the same thing. a dealers sense of time seems so warped when you're fiendin hard.
 
such a piss off, same thing when you get up to the hill and your buddy takes like 20 minutes to put his damn boots on when your fully dressed and ready to go
 
my best friend is like that. i will tell her i am in front of her house when i am leaving mine so she will be ready.

the only thing she is on time for is work.
 
yeah or like when your supposed to meet your friend on the hill at 9 and he shows up at 12 and you get to ski by yourself for a half a day... its like wtf man!!
 
i have had to do this many times! haha

its even funnier when they realize that you do that!

dude the is one of my biggest pet peeves!! i hate when ppl are going to be late and dont call and give a heads up or something! its like common courtesy!
 
i thought this was going to be about waiting for people on the mountain. because that shit drives me crazy. Keep up or find another friend.
 
yeah that, and when people say they'll call you back or give you call later to do something and never do. I got a friend who i swear says goodbye by saying i'll give you a call in a bit, it drives me crazy cause i'll end up doing nothing.
 
The worst is when you're friend says "let's party" and then says he knows how to get booze and people then says he'll be there at 9 pm. He shows up at 11pm by himself, with no booze, no one to get it, no people to come party and suggests that I drive 30 miles out of my way to play pool till 1 am get kicked out and drive home with half a tank of gas less. That really sucks
 
i have a friend whose never up for doing anything, and sometimes i'll call him and ask him to do shit and instead of making up an excuse or saying maybe like he used to, he just replies "no" and goes back to playing halo

fucking hate it. i have a friend who can take 10 minutes to get from his house to my car, after i tell him im there. also when people say ill be over, leaveing now, but it takes 3 times as long for them as it would for me, and you know its b.s.
 
I have to do this to one of my good friends.
Say I'm making plans with everyone, I have to give him special instructions when to meet up, usually an hour before I actually wanna hang out cause thats how long it takes him. I just find it humorous now cause he doesn't think anything of it, or he'll make up the most lame excuses ever.
 
this actually pertains to my situation tonight, but i do also agree that dealers have the most warped sense of time, but more than likely they do not care and know that you have to wait for them. i was waiting to get a ride back from montreal to my house in vermont for the weekend and my friend said to be ready by 6pm. he didnt come until 745 and only called me 5 mins before he was arriving. i find that so inconsiderate
 
i never wait more than half an hour if somebody's gonna be that late. i don't put my life on hold for anybody.
