I was thinking about this on my way home from work.
So I've always lived on the east coast and every year the ball drop to watch for the new years countdown is the NYC one in times square. It never even crossed my mind that the US is three different time zones. Where the hell do the rest of ya'lls ball drop at? Minnesota or some shit?

oh your so damn cool
but i think they wait to show the ball dropping for your time zone, so for the west coast they would delay it 3 hours.

i blow shit up and i wouldnt have it any other way. the only thing i will be dropping is a mortar shell down a tube and if i am lucky i will be seeing double by then so i'll get a 2 for 1 show.

all depends if you count them, correct?
generally, no they are not considered when explaining U.S time zones

just imagine living in russia there are like 12 time zones there. so its midnight on the east coast while the western side is having only having lunch.

It's simple really, everyone in the West heads out to the East for New Years.
