Waffle House, Bringing it to the North!

I've spent a lot of time in the South and the only reason that it was livable conditions was because of Waffle House. Open 24 hours a day, great food and it only costs around 5 to eat a shitton of food. You can get a steak for like 6 dollars! It's tits in your goddamn mouth, i swear. It's great if you havn't been there and if you havn't drive down to kentucy, stash up on illegal fireworks and eat at waffle house. It's only south of kentucky tho and we need to get it in the North. We need to petition this shit.
 
soooo just like Chicken and Waffles? thats the most ghetto yet most fulfilling waffle house I have ever been too, straight down in west side Oakland, CA.
 
we got waffle houses all over the place here in south carolina. my friends and i love midnight meals there soo much.

and just for those of you who are picking up on it completely. these places are sketchy as FUCK. they're like roadside diners in chain form. to quote my english teacher who once worked at a waffle house, "iWaffle House isn't the place that will get robbed. but the place that robbers will stop in for a bite to eat after they rob someone."

yet regardless. there food is decent and cheaper than anything else, so i'm occasionally found there at midnight.
 
if its the waffle house i'm thinking off they have those all over the place. There's a few in CO off of I-25 and i went to one in Ohio somewhere.

Not a southern thing. Although Church's Chicken and various other chicken places seem to be. I've only seen KFC in CO
 
i went to a waffle house in downtown decatur GA at like 1130 pm and the food was fantastic. but i never thought i would ever see that many 68' impalas in one place
 
I've done that, too! you can't beat WaHo's cheesy grits. We go super early in the AM after partying at Famous or CJs or someplace and its amazing!
 
waffle house is the shit, theyre an atlanta company, i went to HS like a qtr of a mile from the original , if you spent your teenage years in atlanta, and your summer/late night/post driking staple wasn't waffle house youre a fucking loser. I've seen 2 ghetto waitresses go at it in a waffle house, seen a homeless person get hit by a bus outside of a waffle house, fucking seen it all.

My favorite item is the grilled texas cheesteak sandwich , or the toddle house with a vanilla, cherry and lime coke
 
It is a southern thing. They are mostly around the south. There are a few in Ohio. One of my friends from high school's dad is the CEO and his grandfather co-founded it. It's def. southern though. It has just expanded to colorado, nm, az and such. You wont find many outside the south though, where as if youre in atlanta, its not uncommon to see 2 waffle houses on an exit off the interstate, 1 on each side.

If you've only seen KFC in co, you arent looking and you haven't been many places. It was founded in Corbin, KY and theyre all over the place in the south.
 
dude its ALL OVER Ohio. Seriously, as soon as you cross the border from Michigan its like Waffle House, Waffle House, Waffle House. Shits crazy.

Funny story, I worked with this guy this summer who couldn't say w's and every time we drove by a waffle house we'd yell "WRRRRAAFFFLE House" cause thats how he'd say it. Good times.
 
I meant KFC is the only chicken place I've seen in CO. obviously KFC is everywhere.

By the way I live in Texas now, so I see Church's Chicken and other weird shit I assume is mostly confined to the south. Never heard of Whataburger before I got down here. Still haven't gone there though.
 
Like waffle house, the south holds it down with fast food restaurants originating from there- Chick Fil A, Bojangles and Zaxbys.
