Wachusett

I liked the jumps yesterday and not the rails, but today even with the snow everything thanks
 
no no no no nothing will ever compare to the 2010-11 park. so bad. i actually really like it this year jumps are very rice and the rails could use some work, but overall its muy divertido
 
ya I see what you mean but I thought the jumps were better 2010-11. For a while they had 4 big ones, then half way through the season they took the forth one down, the rails that year though... fuck they awful.
 
They should honestly just fire 75% of it and rehire people that no what the fuck they're doing, plus wachusett just needs new rails they have nothing unique besides maybe the von zipper and I wouldn't hold your breath on that new cannon Andrew built I doubt that thing is getting put in anytime soon.
 
ya dis they need to get a bigger dfd, some flat downs, up downs, down flats, etc nearly all their rails are just flat and short. and there are a ton of long pieces of old snowmaking pipe just sitting below the progression park lift they should make some rails out of those tube rails are the best. also what happened to "project highway" whatever that was

haha right right, but im saving up a bunch of footage right now for a big edit at the end of the month and im not gonna use it in anything else, but ill be filming tonight and thursday for 1-2 episodes of racicot lurks or whatever the series is going to be called. be on the lurkout
 
it was truly bad tonight, everything was just not fun, the flat rail, corrugated are the only remotely good things, ah if i was a park manager i would freak, things are made so crappy, seriously bad
 
Granted its my first year skiing park, i think the wachusett park is pretty good compared to where ive skied this season. Waterville and sugarloaf would probably take first tho.
 
what was the issue? i'm thinking about going tomorrow but i don't want to drive an hour for a shit park.
 
super icy, the jumps are meh, really really small, the only good rail is the first one, everything else sucks IMO, i can deal with a crappy park but this one is just not fun, lips are poorly made, landings suck....if the conditions improve the jumps might be ok but the rails just really suck, along with the boxes which are some of the worst iv ever ridden, the trap box is ok, and the other one suck
 
Still on the lookout for 12/13 Drop Kick tongues, you could trade with me for some reaaaaaaaal sweet tan ones.
 
completely agree, in my 2 years of skiing park tonight was by far the worst park i have ever ridden, pretty much everything sucked
 
Ya Brooke and I rode Nashoba tonight and what they have set up is nasty right now I would suggest going there and fuck Wachusett
 
no more changing the subject please fill us in on this conspiracy that has formed on why the park cant just be good for once. like fo real it doesnt make sense its not that hard to design a good park, yeah building it is hard but thats their job. like christoph said a lot of it is just the lips are shitty which literally takes 10 minutes to rebuild yet some stuff like the black handrail and vonzipper have had wack lips the entire year. dont get me wrong its pretty fun and i have no where else to go so ill still be shredding it 4+ days a week but theres a lot that could be improved
 
yeah from the looks of it, i'm going to head to nashoba tomorrow. sucks cause i was really looking forward to a nice buffalo chicken wrap at wawa but i'm not driving an hour for that.
 
nashoba is killin it! i would totally suggest riding there over wachusett at the moment. we did rebuild last night, and we are planning on another rebuild tomorrow night. the park should be better soon folks!

Legit. Everyone should come up Friday following Thursday night's build where you can witness another jump, additional rail features (urban down w/steps and hubs), and super fun before we get some blower pow!

Also enjoy the snow. Go figure, as soon as I leave to go to Utah we get like 2 feet of snow
