Wachusett Sesh - May 12th..

the crowleys have never come across as people who are angry to me...

I could see them getting irked because the rails were left out, but it seems a bit extreme to come on here, and just call out Skiers, cause man, there are soooooooo many stupid boarders too!
 
I told them they should have put them back like we did, so they'd be good for next year not lying all crazy on unflat ground. If you don't know what your talking about just shut your mouth. I mean it's pretty easy to just be like yeah I get it. Like a few other kids did. Instead of being all bad asses, when you know what I'm saying is right.
 
yeah you did say that^. so stop bitching at kids who like to ski and actually put a shitload of time in setting up that jam, and didnt put back the rails by accident or not. But stop acting like you own the mountain.
 
Not to fuel a fire or anything, but the wawa crew does a shit poor job of maintaining the rails as it is. Not saying leaving them out was the thing to do, but I have NEVER seen a park crew dude at wawa doing anything but chilling at the top in or around that hut.

Their rails are always mad sticky and rusted, so not sure what the gripe is about, other then the fact they left the rails sitting on uneven terrain, cus that can warp them mad easily.

But even if they sit in the woods on the side of the trail they are still going to rust the same as if they sit in the open and that's a scientific fact I think. Not like rain and O2 isn't gonna hit them in the woods.
 
Yeah no shit, no one did anything this year in park crew, thats why there all getting replaced this year. We had them standing up on there legs so they wouldn't actually suck this year. And then these kids have them just sitting out but yet there too stupid to realize what they did, and dont care because there not always riding there.
 
well other then them not being upright, I don't think you have much to worry about. Just make sure the park crew sands them down and then wire brushes them like once a week, that's all ya gotta do to keep em not sticky really.
 
Yeah but buddy there just going to be sitting there. For the rest of the year, for little kids to jump all over and everything else. Hey maybe mountian bikes will even ride on them!
 
he has a rite to be angry specially if they got blamed for it and yah we shouldve put them back but kids dont have the rite to be calling him out or any shit like that cause we all ride the mountain and skiiers and snowboarders chill together at wawa not hate on eachother we all know the park crew does nothing and that the mountain doesnt take care of the rails well enough but thats not the point doods rite we fucked up but he doesnt deserve this shit like dave was prob wicked pissed i can feel that
 
so why do you care so much if people left them out if little kids and mountain bikers are gonna jump all over them.

The park managing crew at wa is extremely efficent!! I've never had soo many snow balls thrown at myself on the lift before!!

The funny thing about this thread is that the Crowleys, Dave (park management) and pretty much everyone else I've met at WA are chill, and I couldn't imagine them really caring about this at all.
 
That's why they all do, and they all hate you for wrecking the post season setup everytime, making straight on jumps that were 3 ft over the rail.
 
You probably were, but I'm a bigger part of Wawa then you are, I've put about 7 years of dedicated service to that place and I actually care what I'm riding there. Your just a kid who goes there and rides down the park. I actually go there, help out and hang out.
 
And one last thing, if you can't imagine Dave caring. Let's meet up next season and you can go tell Dave you brought the rails down the pipe and left them there. Not saying you did, but just go tell him that, and wait for his response, haha.

who are you? NO ONE. I have respect from pretty much everyone at the mountian that is a someone and thats all that matters to me. Not some kids on a skiing messageboard, that are too stupid to realize something wrong, but decide to keep aruging about it.
 
They might be chill, but they don't maintain the rails worth shit haha.

I have not met one of them that was a prick myself and always find myself hanging with them at the hut between runs. But seriously I don't think I have ever seen one of them lift a shovel, or rake.

Wa is kinda like the place you don't wanna go to, but can't help but love for some reason. I always say to myself no no no, and end up going and having fun even though the park can be super sketch.

Their early season park was classic. A box in the ground basically haha, was like 1" off the snow. And then a death box that was like sideways and super sketch. That was an interesting day for sure.
 
Yeah but it is maintained most of the time. You guys that just go there randomly are the ones that give it a bad name. I know I've spent hours just fixing things.
 
I'm pretty sure everyone there knows me. Not to say that in a douchebag way but in knowing everyone. Everyone knows me and by that I mean the cool people and the good people. Not the flamer kids like on this board.

dude you're an idiot. most of the rails were laying face down not legs down and i have the pictures to prove it... and sorry if the rails way 324875 lbs and we're not in the worlds strongest man contest and cant bring them back "where they were found" have you ever tried to drag that c box uphill? it weighs a ton and it took nearly 6 of us to push it downhill wachusetts shit ahs ALWAYS been messed up and thats a fact. so don't come on here bitching that "we" did shit to the rails when wachusett has poor park management and never keep their rails in a storage area like most legitmate resorts.

WHO FUCKING CARES IT WACHUSETT. for christ sake you're making sound like its a major resort and that we battered the rails and now they are unrideable... which is not the case. they are 50 yrds downhill from their original resting place WHO CARES. cry me a river, build me a bridge and get the fuck over it.
 
I've been riding there since 1999 it's not a how long you were riding there contest. It's a what do you contribute and I've contributed a whole lot more than you will ever and I know that for a fact because skiers don't do anything but bitch at that mountian.
 
dude i used to spend maintaining a jump and some lips so my friends and i could session it... this was back 7 years ago when park was just starting to be recognized by wachusett... so dont even go there...and by the way you make yourself sound like a donkey saying that you know all the "cool people" youre a fucking moron.

dude do you have any idea who i am? im not turing it into a ive been rding there longer contest, even tho i have. but the fact of the matter is, is that myself, a SKIER have put in work for that mtn selflessly, unpaid, i'd actually go to the lift shack and ask for a rake because the park rake's didnt even exist at wachusett then, and then i'd groom over all the lips and make them nice again and go session the hell outta them with my friends.
 
Na dude I don't know who you are, so no offense but you obviously aren't someone important, I know everyone there. They've had park rakes for about 5 years now, so I don't know where your going with your deep thoughts, but they don't really matter.

I never said that, and hate to break it to you, but Wachusett has and has had some of the best talent in the East go through it for snowboarding. You obviously don't know shit.
 
maybe because since WA has never had a legit park i moved to aspen, co and then this past season i was at Northstar at tahoe # 4 park in the nation... when Wa get up in the top 10 parks in the nation then you can have a right to bitch at me, but Wa is a little shithole icy mtn that can offer anything for actual skiers/boarders that are really into parks... thats why 3/4 of them go to other resorts like myself going to CO, or even locally people go to loon, waterville, mt snow.. ect ect

i would never put in anymore time at a waste of a mtn when it sounds like they havent really put much into the park except for rails.. because from what ive read the park crew sucked and didnt do anyhting. and you know what they say, your park is only as good as your park crew... remember that..
 
name 5 kids that are PRO, theres only one kid that i know of that made it to the big time... but he also spent half his days at waterville and loon jackass.
 
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I'm pretty sure until you can absolutley kill the park, you can't hate on it and I'm pretty sure none of you guys can and hey its "SHITTY PARK" is still producing some real good talent.
 
Can't name 5 I can name 4 and a bunch of AM's that will shit on most AM's at any other mountian. Todd Richards, Shane Flood, Tanner Pendleton, Stu Gingras, Sean Thomas, Mike Ravelson.....
 
Your arguement is going no where fast. Being PRO or AM doesn't mean anything to how good you are. Snowboarding is a buisness sport, where nothing is fair, and it doesn't matter how good you are. It's all who you know.
 
ok 2 legitmate snowboarders, todd richards and shane flood, and i know for a fact they didnt ride wachusett ritually. they went to waterville and loon, i know shane... if they rode wachusett contantly they'd be nothing more than mediocre snowboarders. but since they went to loon and waterville, that actually have nice parks since i can remember, this is why they are what they are now. not because wachusett's NASTY park got them there, we would all go there to fuck around because it was a shithole and still is.
 
No dude they started off there. You've gotta start somewhere. There are amazing snowboarders at Wachusett not mediocre. Once again if you don't know what you are talking about than don't talk.
 
your absoultely wrong, that shitty aprk doesnt produce talent, talk to guys that are actually good and they'll tell you staright up you need a GOOD park to become a better park skier/ snowboarder. and im pretty sure transworld hasnt ranked them in the best parks in the nation and im definately positive freeskier has NEVER put wachusett in their list

for the east its Mount Snow, Loon, Waterville Valley, Sunday River, even killington... BUT NOT WACHUSETT. when wachusett makes it on this list then you cna have some right to bitch and moan and all of whatever your doing.
 
Ok buddy that's why Wachusett riders are out there winning contests haha, because you know so much. A good park doesn't mean shit. I'd rather ride Wawa over waterville, killington, and definetly over fucking Mt. Snow anyday.
