Has anyone checked these things out? It may be old news, but they're fucking awesome.

Stove, fridge, bed, storage- everything you need on wheels, and with better mileage than a gas guzzling motorhome.

I've been planning on buying one for quite some time now. Next summer will be the time I think- and then I'll have a home with me wherever I go.

Anyone else have a Westy?

A Westfalia would be so sweet. I'd love one for road trips to places like Whistler and stuff, just live in your vehicle... oh so sweet.

Dude i grew up with those in my family. we had two when i was like 5 and 6. took them camping and skiing all the time. the best is when they open on the top to make a bed and even have a sink in them. too many good memories with that.
