Okay guys im gettin the new VW rabbit

im debating between the 2 and the 4 door or... the 3 and 5 if u guys wanna count the hatchback.

i want to know what you think each way. I like the look of the 2 door quite stongly right now and am leaning towards that right now but i could change it still.

Aswell is a sun roof worth $1400?

NS I NEED YOUR OPINION!

is this the car ?

Not saying that in a bad way or anything but I couldn't find a lot of good pics of it

get a scion tc or xb or xa or whatever they fuck, they are made by toyota so they are like a gagiliion times more reliable then a vw.

yeah.

i was gonna get one.

a new one. They are nice.

but then i got a 2004 jetta instead.

but the rabbits are nice.

with a thule..theres enough room for a trip to the mountains..as long as you don't travel with 3 people that dont know how to pack.

explain that to my 9 year old VW Cabriolet that still runs like a dream....

and german cars are just simply... better.

Drive a VW ull be in love i promise!

(this car wont be used to drive to the mountain that much and if it is ski boots wont be on when ppl are in the backseat so the driving to the mountain ease is not a priority for me.) I have access to a jeep liberty that will be used for that when necessary.

also the seats slide up really really easy so thats all delightful

HAHAHAHAH.......scion......ugh.

It depends on what you use the car for. If you want something more nimble and fun to drive go for the two door, if you want something a bit more practical and you have friends, get the four door. As far as the sunroof goes, I hate them so I wouldn't get one, but that's a decision you should make. It's really a question of whether you want to spend $1,400 to let the sun get in your eyes from one extra place while you're driving.

No way fuck! I have a 91' vw passat and it's the shit! It still looks good and has electric windows, electric sunroof and even heating seats! So...

if you don't get the 3 door hatchback you should probably be killed. also, if you can afford it, definitely get the sunroof. they are soooo worth it.

yo way to keep the rabbit alive this guy i no has the orginal 1983 rabbit (1st yr in the us) its a 4 door the new ones r sweet id say go for the 2 door more sporty good choice of car!

the new rabbits are pretty sweet. its pretty much the mkV version of the golf that has been in production for the last 10 years or whatever. the 2.5L 5 cylinder has been pretty good so far as well, plus its a sweet price. Go for it, oh, and get the 2 door. 4 is too many on that car

Too bad they're made in Mexico.

They are rediculously fun to drive though, and get the sunroof. This way, you can tan while you drive.

2 door with sunroof..

4 door is only good if ur worried about how much insurense ur paying cuz it will be cheaper.. also get it manual cuz it lowers the insurense and it a shit load more fun to drive

i think they had the eos at waterfest this past weekend along with the new rabbit (waterfest is the biggest vw/audi show in the world or east coast not sure)

it all depends, 2 door is probably going to be cheaper, i dont know about the insurance being more expemsive, the 4 door is nice though, because you have that extra room

the eos is actually a hardtop convertible with a sunroof, the first car to ever have that. It probably was at waterfest, along w/ the rabbit. ive seen them and the eos is sick, def get one if you're in the market for a new car, not out until sept though in the states

wow I love all the kids in the VEDUBYA cult are the only ones that know anything, scions are gay 4 door rabbits are dope! so are 2 doors, but the 2door isn't available with a sunroof, and my 15 year old Golf runs like a fucking champ.

well if they were in the US before 1983 then they were imported because the 20th anniversy edition GTI was in 2003 and in 2002 was the 337 or the 25 anniversy edition for germany

they made RABBITS for a long time before there was a GTI, notice how the 2006/7 GTI is not called a rabbit.....

if the rabbit had been out when i went to buy i would have def. picked it up instead of my jetta.

the 2 door is pretty dope and i think the back seat is the same size not sure thought

im sure it would be more fun to drive too

Thanks for the backup Malone. Good to hear someone else who knows. And Matt, that is a golf, not a rabbit. Pretty cool cars, but the purists still love the simplicity of the rabbits. Bare bones, light, easy to make fast.

this is a rabbit.
