VT skiing industy looses 70 jobs to utah?

Rossignol and Dynastars host company Quiksilver, is moving the east coast operations out west which according to the newspapers means the loss of 70 jobs... so how is this going to affect Dynastar athletes/reps. etc. ? what is everyones take on how this will affect the scene 'round the motha fuckin east coast?

Thats how we roll in Utah... don't worry... there will be more than enough people to fill those jobs... skiing out here is WAY bigger than on the eastcoast. There will be no shortage of qualified people.

this really fucks those 70 people over. most of those 70 are in those jobs because they live and breath skiing and with their unemployment they will go out looking for other ski industry jobs which wont be there.

Many VT skiers get their first sponsorships from D* or rossi because the people who work for these companies such as reps are at the mountains most days and they see the kids throwing down. With the loss of exposure to these people i bet you will see a lot less sponsorship in VT

totaly, tons of west coasters come to VT with a huge ego, thinking they can dominate any thing someone puts infront of them... but the truth is they just arn't that good, skiing ice is something you need to know how to do, and those fool busters from out west just can't do it.
